No explanations needed or necessary, let's just all go on record with the following scenarios:

1. If we trade up, who are we getting?
2. If we stay put at #26, who SHOULD we take?
3. If we stay put at #26, who WILL we take?
4. If we trade our pick at #26 for one current NBA player (like we did last year, trading our pick for George Hill), who will it be?

Just to get us started, here are my own answers:

1. Tyler Zeller should be the trade up target.
2. Jeff Taylor is who we SHOULD take at #26 if he is there.
3. Draymond Green is who I think we will ACTUALLY draft at #26.
4. Courtney Lee, Jerome Jordan or Jamal Crawford are 3 trade targets I could see us maybe dealing for tonight, in some sort of transaction.

Ok, let's have it! Call your shot time....

1.) I guess it depends on how high we can get, if we can get top 5-8, I take Lillard. If we get 10-15, and he is still on the board, I would take Zeller.
2.) We SHOULD take Quincy Miller. I would also be intrigued by Taylor, Barton, or Teague.
3.) Draymond seems so obvious just like Hansbrough did. So I guess Draymond.
4.) I guess my question is, if 26 and DC can get us the 10th pick, what can the 10th pick and Granger then get us? I think Larry and Pritchard would prefer to get established talent out of this draft. Isn't Crawford a free agent now since he renounced his deal with Portland? I think the Pacers will put a call into Utah to see if we can get Paul Milsap. EDIT: I misread the question, oops. Uh, how about Varejao?

I'm going with relatively safe answers:

1. Austin Rivers
2. Hard to answer without knowing who will be available. Will Barton?
3. Draymond Green
4. O.J. Mayo

Mayo is a restricted free agent right now.

Did I say O.J. Mayo? I meant Rudy Fernandez. (Honestly, I had no idea about this one, I'm just pulling names out of a hat right now).

1. If we trade up, who are we getting? Are we talking #10? Assuming Lillard will be gone, the target should be Zeller or best available shooting guard.
2. If we stay put at #26, who SHOULD we take? Jeff Taylor
3. If we stay put at #26, who WILL we take? Jeff Taylor; not ideal in terms of position, but too good to pass up at this spot if he's there.
4. If we trade our pick at #26 for one current NBA player, who will it be? I don't have a specific name for this one. We need a young, athletic PF/C and a SG that can create, pass, and defend.

Awesome topic-

1. I can see us trading up for Zeller. Id think wed want a big and/or a scorer if we trade up.
2. We should take whoever falls to us at #26 that should have been taken much earlier (i.e. PJ III). But Id be happy with Quincy Miller at 26.
3. Fab Melo
4. I think if we trade, itll be for an established PG. For some weird reason, Ill say Kyle Lowry.

1. Damian Lillard and Terrence Ross are the only 2 worth trading up for(however if you can get a lottery pick for DC do it we shouldn't pay him next summer IMO pull a Spurs and get value for him now)
2. depends a lot on who is on board if I think Will Barton will be there so him. I would really be looking to trade down and get 2 picks in the 30s if possible.
3. have no clue
4. again no clue hopefully Reggie Jackson as a possibility would be nice to have insurance in case Hill gets overpaid. But I dont see him being shopped yet not enough value.

1. Kendall Marshall. A lot of his weaknesses are overrated, and he has legitimate elite-level playmaking skills -- a rare commodity.

2. It's impossible to say without knowing who's available. Of those currently projected within shouting distance of #26, I'd prefer a high-upside swing for the fences, like Wroten or Quincy Miller. If PJIII (doubtful) or Sullinger (very possible) drop, snatch one of them up.

3. Probably try to fill a need with the best-available center; Melo or Ezili.

4. Deep down inside I'm hoping Atlanta's willing to salary-dump Josh Smith for young(ish) prospects and pick(s), which gives me dreams of D.C., Hansbrough, #26, and a 2013 1st for Smith.

More realistic? #26 to OKC for Reggie Jackson (remember him?) and #28. The Thunder dump a little salary and move up two slots; the Pacers pick up a decent point-guard prospect (pick 24 last year) and remain in the first round.

I love it! Wouldn't Hill and his agent just carp, b/c no one is going to give Hill 7-8 mil, other than Walsh grrr, and what team is going to give Hill a starting job other than the Pacers?

Trade up.

DC to Portland for 11 if they pass on Lillard. Or DC to Phoenix at 13.

Trade 11 or 13 to Boston for the 21 & 22.

Trade Hans to the Cavs for the 33 and 34.

Pacers have the 21, 22, 26, 33, 34.

Trade some of those picks for players (a pg) or future picks, or draft guys.

Don't know where to put this, but is there anywhere to watch the draft online? I don't mean an illegal stream or anything like that, I just am not currently subscribed to any television providers.

I think only one of your examples will play out. The Pacers will hold on to the 26 pick and hope they can get Fab Mello........

It looks like it's gonna air on ESPN3 (http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/source/espn3/#type/upcoming/).

I'll nervously second GrangeRushHibbert's answer ... although I prefer Trader Joe's trade-up answer (Lillard or Zeller) and mentioning of Milsap.

just type livestream nba draft 2012 and you'll get something without a shed of doubt. I'm wondering though will there be some radio stadions covering the draft (preferably Ind. based ones)?

I'm sure they'll have it on at a bar or something, if you're 21.

I am betting there is another trade where we get a current player. I am thinking and hoping it will be a higher profile move than last year's Hill trade. I think Bird and Pritch will be aggressive and go for a starter. I have no idea who it will be though.

If we do draft someone, I would like Fab Melo.

1. Lillard my 1# hope, Zeller is maybe more realistic if we trade up (for collison and #26 I'd be thrilled)
2. Wroten
3. Green and I'm honestly ok with that, I like the kid
4. I don't have any idea, I'd rather draft a shiny new player than any older player that could be had for the #26.

1. Agree on Zeller
2. Agreeable on Taylor
3. I'm not a mind reader of the front office. Why not root for Taylor?
4. I can't see the 26 pick getting us a veteran worth having unless it includes our paying a salary that someone else is looking to dump.
5. Top choice, I want to see us find a way to get Goran Dragic, probably in free agency. I would be sadly willing to trade Granger (to clear salary space for us and to give New Orleans an immediate strong starter to make them willing to lose their next and possibly last year on Gordon), Collison, and Hansbrough for E. Gordon.
