Anthony Davis wants to own the unibrow look. The consensus first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft has filed for trademark protection over two phrases tied to his unique eyebrows.

Davis, known for his connected eyebrows, trademarked the phrases “Fear The Brow” and “Raise The Brow” earlier this month. “I don’t want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it,” Davis told CNBC. “Me and my family decided to trademark it because it’s very unique.”

Ugh. Just had to share this idiotic piece of "news". I just hope that one of his teammates shaves off that retched unibrow as part of his rookie hazing. The length of time he keeps the 'brow is proportionally indicative of his maturity level. If he still has that damned thing by the time his rookie contract is over, that's just sad.

I can't wait until he's unanimously decided NOT the best player to come from this draft. Yeh, maybe he'll get a ROY award, but I'm not going to be rooting for him until he grows up and shaves that stupid unibrow. Yes, it is the most petty reason to hate on a player, but it's ridiculous.

Wow...he seriously thinks someone would try to grow one because of him?

Maybe he's just growing his because of Davy Jones.

Maybe they just said that so people want try to market it the wrong way or in a negative way, and if they do he will be able to sue.

Why is everyone so mad at him for having a unibrow? Granted, most everyone thinks it looks very dumb. But hey if he wants to usher in a new unibrow style let him try.

1.) I'm proud of Davis. Embrace the brow, sir.

2.) God, Brezhnev just had the best eyebrow(s). Look at that thing. It's like a black eagle's wings. Beautiful.

The Bucks should take exception with the "Fear the Brow" phrase....sounds too much like their own "Fear the Deer" phrase ;)

It does sound petty but I have to agree with you. He will lose the brow when Adidas or nike tells him too.
