So I just saw this and its clearly one of the most biased documentaries I have ever seen but it still had me interested from the science stand point and the conspiracy theorist in me couldn't deny that I have seen power plays before from scientist in my respected field.

Here is a short run down.
Guy finds a possible cure or treatment for cancer in the early 80's and gets blocked by the state of Texas and the FDA for 20+ years.

Guy wins multiple trials and is trying to get clinical trials approved.

IF you have netflix you can watch it by streaming or you can go here.

Just a warning the opening scene is tough to watch.

Netflix is awesome for documentaries. I may check this one out, though medical science isn't really my thing.

If I may add a recommendation, I just watched Shut Up Little Man the other day, it was really weird and really funny.

Some good Docs I've watched on Netflix: Exit Through the Gift Shop, Restrepo, Dear Zachary

Sorry, but this is my field of expertise, and Burzynski is a complete and total quack, profiteering from desperate people paying tens of thousands of dollars for worthless, untested, unsafe crap that he mixes with known cancer drugs. Occasionally the mixture succeeds, due to the use of the cancer drug. He claims it is due to his "antineoplastons"

So, his so-called science is fudged and/or non-existent. He claims data that everyone would love to be able to replicate, but cannot, since he simply made it up completely. The "drugs" he uses do not work, without being combined with things that work. Others have proven so, time and time and time again.

He is the worst kind of charlatan imaginable.

And no, I am not some guy "paid off" by big pharma or the FDA, but a professor of medicinal chemistry, working mostly in cancer, with a disdain for fraud

I was hoping you would chime in on this. I couldn't tell if he was just promoting a HDAC inhibitor or something else. He has 10 or so patents from what I can make out but mostly people just talk about a few of them.
