Chris Sheridan‏@sheridanhoops

Danny Granger dissed the Knicks on Twitter, then deleted the post. The Bockers heard about it, though: http://bit.ly/yfzpXF

David Benner‏@PacersDMB

@sheridanhoops DGranger did not tweet that. Those who follow know he doesn't tweet much. Twice in last month, on going home and Barbosa.

Alan Hahn‏@alanhahnReply

Melo on Granger's comment: "We shall see. I'm glad you told me that." More on @MSGNetworks: http://bit.ly/FPxwew #Knicks #fb

Amar'e on Granger 'winnable games' comment: "He just has to be careful for what he asks for." (via @MSGNetworks): http://bit.ly/ygJXrI #fb

See, Thats, that BS! :censored:

Granger didnt send that tweet, but now more ammo for the opponent to get hyped and continue profiling us around the league

I heard Danny said that Melo wasn't that pretty and that he likes Amare, who everyone knows Melo likes.

I found the quote , even if he did say the two Knick games were "Winnable games" , What was he supposed to say?

It wasn't a tweet, it was from this video at the :40 mark, as pointed out in another thread....

The_Sleeze cleared this up in the other thread. It has nothing to do with Twitter. ****** reporters trying to get attention by being "controversial" is no new thing.

:onozomg:

Curses vile and evil reporters for sourcing from the ever changing Twittosphere. Or video interviews. Or vlogs. Or blogs. Or FB. Or wherever.

I don't know what candy-a** punk loser needs to be "motivated" to not play like a losing overpaid moron, but I sure as :censored: wouldn't be worried about it.

Yes Knicks, you suck. People have said it all year. Your coach resigned. Your fans think either you or your owner is a loser, maybe both.

Yet all of that, the freaking WIN LOSS record in black and white across the pages of the NY Times and Post, the people in cabs and subways and Central Park grumbling that the only player worth going to see is Jeremy Lin...that WAS NOT motivational.

But Granger saying it's a "winnable game" does the trick?

Personally the few million dollars and privilege of playing 41 games a year in MSG in front of the NY fans would be my motivation.

In other words, by far the lamest bunch of BS in sports is the "bulletin board material" or the "that fan taunted me so now I'll show him" motivational threat. If that is true then all it proves is that on most nights the guy is a total money-stealing d-bag who should be embarrassed to be seen in public. Melo is admitting he doesn't try hard normally. Great job Melo, congrats on being one of the softest, whiniest babies in the NBA.

Don't you have a backpeddling slap fight club meeting to attend.

Sure seemed to be motivated tonight. We looked like deer in the headlights on the big stage at MSG

Maybe Melo can get off on this one.

Melo, "you lame-*** punk. Jeremy Lynn had 9 turnovers in one game this year. What's the matter dweezil-@?!@, are you going to be outdone by a rookie? Get some zip in your game, tomorrow night, I'm sure you can go for 10 TOs if you just give it a try."

All Granger said was that the games were "winnable"? No wonder the Knicks were outraged!

Well said Naptown_Seth..

I didnt play 100% the other day, but this dude Granger made fun of me so now i am going to give it all. Screw the Money, screw the fans, that Granger guy is my motivator...
