How the hell do you let LAC get Young for just about nothing? (unless the pick, was a 1st from them...)

I bet Nene wishes he signed with the Pacers now. Good luck in DC.

Reports are that the Clippers gave up a 2nd rounder and Brian Cook. Good trade for LAC.

So I guess it looks like Washington basically chose to pay Nene over Nick Young.

Don't really understand how this helps the Nuggets. They get cap relief but, now they will either have to resign McGee who wants 15mil a year (ridiculous) or they'll have to go after Hibbert. Or they must have an eye on a Center in the draft already.

Edit: I wonder how much this has to do with getting Chandler signed to a long-term deal.

Call me crazy nut Nene would have been a better deal to GS than a broken down Bogut, Nene is not 100% yet but at least he is playing.

Maybe they really like Mozgov?

that just makes our trade look that much better - we gave up even less for arguably a better player

I don't think anyone really believes McGee will get the $14M per he's allegedly asking for. I'd think something very similar to what DeAndre Jordan received (4/$42.7M (http://aol.sportingnews.com/nba/story/2011-12-11/warriors-offer-deandre-jordan-40-million-plus-deal)) is far more realistic. Worst-case-scenario, Denver lets him walk and are out that albatross of a contract they gave Nene.

WTF?

The Clips traded a 2nd ( not a 1st ) round pick for Nick Young?

Yea, Nick Young is a FA, so in about 25 games, he walks!

I wonder how the Nuggets fans feel? Good bye Nene, Welcome Javalee? Javalee is like the new David Harrison but funnier.

It looks like Denver moved Nene because they wanted money to get Chandler.

A 2nd round pick for Nick Young?

If we had a choice of Nick Young or Barbosa...at the cost of a 2nd round pick....which one would you go with?

They can score just as well as each other... The more mature guy w/ leadership abilities is more valuable as a rental.

true but the Clippers sent them NOLA's 2nd rd pick which will basically be another 1st rd pick and you wont have to guarantee a contract. Good value it seems Nick Young's time there was done anyway after accepting his qualifying offer.

Denver will have 20 million of Cap Space in the summer if they don't sign any more players. So yea they did it for financial purposes. If George Karl can improve Mcgee this is a solid trade for Nuggets.

I doubt Nick Young would be happy coming off the bench. However, he spent the off season training with Danny and Paul so he might want to sign with the Pacers as an UFA at the end of the season and it won't cost the Pacers a draft pick.

However, he should fit right in with the Clippers and I could easily see him re-signing with them. Great trade by the Clippers. I think they've made some great trades and personnel decisions this year. How very un-Clipper like of them.

I know his not the 2nd coming or anything, but he is a very talented scorer, that is at least ok efficiency wise...

For the Pacers team...Barbosa...Veteranship, playoff experience, Intensity on both sides of the ball, just an all around fast, hustle type player.

Barbosa is everything Pacers need and Nick is the polar opposite.
