I'm not surprised.

After getting blown out of the water twice, I figured he'd be out.

The Blazers chose Crawford and Felton over McMillan. Or I guess they figured they wouldn't need him since they're rebuilding.

D'Antoni and McMillan fired after player revolts. It truly is a players' league.

Not Bernie Bickerstaff?

Portland has promoted assistant Kaleb Canales to interim head coach, league source tells Y! Sports.

I am surprised.

He's one of the best coahces in the NBA.

I am surprised.

He's one of the best coahces in the NBA.

His team quit on him. And apparently the Blazers don't know what the right OR left hands are doing now:

Some key members of organization learned of McMillan firing from media reports.

Blazer officials were on the phone all day with owner Paul Allen and president Larry Miller, source says. Never once was coach addressed.

Sounds like the Blazers couldn't move the problem children, so had to go with the next solution.

Instead of getting rid of Felton and Crawford, the Blazers tried to get rid of everyone else. That's a novel approach.

Was there ever any doubt?

Their interim coach is only 34.

So he's coaching a player who is 5 years older than him (Kurt Thomas).

One NBA guy who is familiar with Kaleb Canales: "he's young, organized, super nice. But he's prepared. He works his (bleep) off.".

Where have I heard that one before?

34's gotta be the youngest HC ever by far right?

Pretty darn close.

If you count Player-coaches, then Dave DeBusschere will NEVER be caught. Dude was 24 years old.

Stu Jackson was a year younger than Canales is now when he became a head coach.

Well, there goes Vogel's claim to fame as the league's youngest coach.

I wonder how many head coaches can claim that they have TWO players older than him.....

Canales is an interim though.

Quick thing on Kaleb Canales - He used to sleep at the practice facility because he didn't want to miss a player coming in at night #blazers

He's another Vogel-type......

Why does this sound so familiar all of a sudden?
