Luke Babbitt is one of the worst players I've ever seen in the NBA. My goodness.

I recall some people wanting to draft him here too. If I wasn't so lazy I would look up who they were.

Seth wanted him  I never like the guy, I saw him few times and knew that he was going to be bad, good shooter but nothing more.

Tonight was a good win. I don't think anyone really played poorly. And the starters got a lot of rest.

The refs are starting to concern me a little though. Third game in a row where things REALLY went against us. The Pacers couldn't breathe on them, but they'd get tackled with no call. (I expect it against the LeWade's, not so much against Portland..)

The Fieldhouse sounded quite loud on tv for a change really seemed like one of those games that would have been an absolute blast to be at. Anyone know what the attendance was on the night I sure hope it's higher than 12,000.

Great game, outstanding effort! Nice to see Danny at 50% and 2 of 3 from behind the arc. DWest with a double/double, Hill looked VERY good. One more thing

LOU!!

I probably enjoyed watching Lou play more tonight than any player, other than PG, than I have in a while. Lou started trying too hard the last 3-4 minutes to do more which didn't really work.

At 8 minute mark, I was wanting Vogel to put JP in the game since the game had been decided.

Yeah, you have to think McMillan is nearing the end of his rope in Portland. I'd be surprised if he lasted the rest of the season.

That's at least the 2nd time Camby's gotten hurt early in a game at the Fieldhouse. He hurt himself really badly once as Knick many years ago early in a game here.

Lou's the man.

By the way, Paul had another nice showing tonight. More than a couple of steals, a turnaround jumper from the mid post I didn't think he could hit (and if he consistently gets that shot later on, watch out), a little bit aggressive driving to the basket, and frankly he's TOO willing to pass right now, which is a good problem; he drove right around his man for what should have been a nice dunk but instead he whipped a pass that none of his teammates expected and got a turnover. Got a kick out of him turning, catching, and drilling a 3 at one point; reminded me of Reggie a little bit. The kid still oozes potential; I love that we drafted him. I've made a point of NOT buying player jerseys anymore and just sticking with team gear, but I might have to make an exception next fall.

Oh, and the refs were God damned terrible tonight.

Though I don't like the trend, it's gonna be hard to draw fans with the way we've been playing against good teams...

With that said, I'm going to the nationally televised 76er game tomorrow. I hope we have a much better showing attendance wise

did anyone else watch felton tonight. man, the best trade the pacers ever made was not trading DC for him. i was really disappointed in what i saw. one nice drive, one nice mid-range shot. lots of nothing. looks like a guy that should defend, but didn't show much.

someone tell me what i missed.

We played good but man were they horrible.

Lou was great :D

Irrelevant Lou info: This was the second time in his career that he hit double digit shots. He has gone 10/13 once. Also, this was his best percentage when he shot double digit shots. His previous was higher percentage was 9/10.

So what is the excuse for the win this time? Portland at 2 games under .500 in the West is a bottom feeder? Camby got hurt (again) early in the game?

I want to hear from the folks who put this win in the "does not count" column.

Well, one could certainly make a case that the Blazers didn't show up. If they had not hit 30 FTs they would probably score a franchise low.

this game counts as a win. the olando game as a lost. would we feel any better if they beat orlando, then lost to portland? IDK.

anyway you look at it, it's 1-1.

Best commentary of the night, following that awesome stretch where Lou was feeling it so much, that he was doing an iso play to the basket in the mid 4th:

Denari: That's a turnover, Lou.
Croshere: He's tired from all of that scoring!

There are reports that the whole team has quit on the coach and they are just waiting for him to get fired and they have a losing record.

I'll definitely take the win, but the losing streak against winning teams is still intact.
