Whoever watched tonights game must have had the same expression: Lou was all over the place, even trying to lead a fastbreak and making 2 really strange passes...and he was hitting a bankshot freethrow :D

I thought he was high tonight...laughing all the time, but he got his doubledouble, with probably his best freethrow effort in decades!

I watched this video some years ago...just classic ;)
He is a nice guy!

I figured he would come around once he got acclimated to the team. He gives a great effort every night and seems to fit in more and more every game. He is gonna be nice to have for the playoffs...

True. Well, Amundson can do things on the offensive end. I mean, he can perform a spin move. He can perform an up and under. He can shoot a hook. He can shoot a jumper. He can perform an outlet pass.

What's the catch?

He'll miss the layup after the spin move more often than not. He'll get fouled in the up and under. His hook will be strong. His jumper will seem like a lob pass. His outlet pass will find a teammate.. sitting on the bench.

Lou is nice to have. He reminds me of myself. Knows how to perform stuff but still completely fail at them :D

Love the energy and enthusiasm he brings, but he's too erratic, if he could use it more to his advantage it would be great

I certainly like him better than Brandon Rush...

Kind of hope Foster doesnt steal too many minutes from him. Also, like the one tall sock, one short sock look and he isn't covered in tats.

After much facepalming and SMH's to start the season, I am feeling a little better about the Rush/Lou trade.

I thought it would take Lou millions of years to evolve into a basketball player, but by the gods, he is looking like a real baller out there. That spin move last night was sweet, and of course the awesome full court pass to the bench. You know that was intentional. It was a kind of "I know you guys are watching me! Heads up biznatches!!! lolz..". You have to admire that kind of team camaraderie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIDJq3MglrULol its funny how empty the streets are in that video. No they were not closed off for the making of this video. That's actually what downtown Phoenix is like on the weekends, a ghost town.

I think Lou knew he could get the better of his opponents in that game if he went all out. So he did... and it was awesome! Good for him I say. The more you can keep your 7'2" guy on the bench resting his knees the better.

I definitely like Lou a lot. Sometimes he is a little out of control, but he is a good back up big.

Right after Lou's block in the Hornets game I joked about Lou being my new favorite player. Lou's disastrous attempt at leading a fast break happened as the words were still leaving my mouth. Overall though, he could win some SERIOUS points with me if he gives Chicago fits tonight.

I honestly think playing with lance has really helped lous game. Lance made him be ready at all times for passes he wasn't expecting and it is really showing on the court.

I've watched a lot of Lou footage when I heard he became a Pacer. This was among the first things I watched.

I loved that video. Dragic was sooooooo awkward. You could tell he just wanted to sing in Slovenian :p

In general, I can see why a lot of players are reluctant to leave the Suns even when the results are not the best. They just seem to have tons of fun.

I dont think he can do that in a suit behind the bench.

Obviously I was down on the trade and I was upset about giving up Josh.

However in the last 4-5 games, maybe a bit more, Lou has started showing a confidence and comfort on offense that alleviates the loss of Josh. It's not quite the same stuff, but it's similar enough to fill the void.

An alley-oop layup vs dunk is all the same to me, the point is on the run your big can get behind the D and go up and get the high pass for a score. His moves into the lane are smoother than Tyler (not really a high bar) and with more vertical to them as well. So he can get his shot in traffic a little.

So this makes him a great PnR partner, far better than Tyler has been since he doesn't engage the pick as much and is stronger as a pick and pop big instead. I don't know about Lance and Lou (didn't notice) but I did notice that AJ/Lou run a nice, clean PnR. I also think George Hill works well with Lou because he has good awareness of his passing lanes and how to get his big in the right position for the play.

This game of course is the anomaly, but he has been showing that he can get you the 6-8 points attacking the rim when teams overplay or double the ball aggressively. That's all you need, someone to keep teams honest.

He also gives you the Josh shot blocking on defense, and he's been getting better with that. To me these is no doubt that he's clearly moved ahead of Tyler on the depth chart. And people are right to suggest that at the very least he gives you more "physical" rebounds than Roy at this point.

The Lou puns are nice. Indiana Lousier. Lounar Eclipse. Lou's your daddy? Very fun, guys. I'm glad Lou's doing well for us, but I still would rather have someone whose youth and potential I knew were going to be valuable for seasons to come. One "great" game by Lou is not proof he's an incredible player. But I'm glad he's doing work for us.

Not sure who called him "incredible" but the guy is looking like a serviceable backup big with a TON of energy. He's doing exactly what we brought him here to do. Love it.

That's the kind of player that Lou is :D
