I recall with about 50 seconds left, and the Pacers up 5, Stephen Jackson gets the ball at the 3-point line with about 20 seconds on the shot clock, and shoots a brick. Now, if he holds onto that ball, and burns the clock down, is eveything that happend afterwords irrelevant? I mean, even if the Pacers miss, that leaves philly down 5 still 30 seconds left. If the Pacers hit their FTs, wheich they had been doing all game, this is all academic, right?

You may be right, but it doesn't matter anymore.

The Pacers need to come out tonight forgetting what happened in the last game and putting it behind them. There's nothing that they can do about it. It is time to move on; this was one regular season game--there will be plenty more.

I'll be polite and say that Stephan Jackson's shot selection leaves a little to be desired.

You're correct about that play, but it's a different animal than all the ref ****ups, because it's normal for each team to have X # of mistakes, it's not normal for the refs to make 3 horrible calls in critical late stages of a close game.

Hehe. When I saw Jackson jack up that shot, I screamed at the tv and told my wife that "Stephen Jackson just lost the game for the Pacers."

I have been VERY impressed with Jackson thus far.

Trust me - when our team is healthy and in playoffs, this guy is going to be a HUGE factor.

Good point. I mean, how are we scoring 100+points almost every night so short-handed.

It may have been a factor, but what about the :bs: tripping foul on JO and the :bs: offensive foul on Tinsley? I think the incompetent refs helped them win. :banghead:

She is pretty, but a little Carlos Delfino remembers to me?

I don't get it.

I believe it's "She is pretty, but she reminds me a little of Carlos Delfino."

Well, I still don't get it. Maybe if he grew his hair longer and REALLY worked on his pecs...
