Folks,

Starting a weekly segment with John on 1070 The Fan this week. Every Wednesday at 5:05, we'll spend 10-15 minutes jaw jacking about stuff. Thought you might be interested; even though my plan is to avoid hard core hoops discussion, we will undoubtedly as least touch on the Pacers each week.

Please pass the word. Thanks.

I'm sure the program will be 10 minutes of Mark discussing the virtues of the Telefunken U47.

Grover,

Prom Night Dumpster Baby has been over analyzed by the critics already. I'm more inclined to delve into the unrelenting tension between Peter and Mr. Pewterschmidt.

Mr. Boyle,

I know this isn't the proper place for word of the night discussion, but I would like to offer "shimmy" as the word of the night, in tribute of Mark Jackson.

How comes everyone "thanks" MJB, but never me? What's so special that he needs to be "thanked" every time he makes a post on here.

:hmm:

Because he never asks how come other people get thanked more than he does?

90's,

Everyone shares the opinion that he is talented. Not all believe he will be successful. Talent alone is never enough, but without it you have no chance.

Well Mark, in your world I hope you touch on the Hall of Fame class and what it will take to get Slick Leonard in where he belongs.

Sorry MJB, but that number is for a company called Cooperative. Couldn't find any info on Google about that company, but I think you need to get a new number.

Mark,

Caught the show yesterday. I'm really glad you're back on doing a weekly segment. I miss you and Dan Dakich chatting back and forth, so it's great you've found a new spot on local radio to talk about all things Pacers and Fortress of Solitude (FoS).

You were talking about the low attendance problem, and while I agree with everything you and JMV discussed, I also think there is still a (valid IMO) perception that Stern and the NBA have stacked the deck against smaller-market teams. Hopefully a resurgent Pacers combined with the new CBA taking full effect will help to curtail the perception (once again valid IMO) that big market teams have a significant advantage in free agency.

Keep up the good work.
