Tickets for the NBA are that cheap? How could the attendance be that low? The local sports tickets here cost a lot more...
Hopefully one day I could see the Pacers live as well :-p

Its balcony tho. Gotta do my part to raise that attendance. I'm getting there early and finding a bar for cheaper beer.

Hopefully I can find cheap parking.

The Pub of course is the Pacers bar.. But O'Reilly's is a great little joint as well. Right around the corner from O'Reilly's is the Pearl Street Pizzeria which is worth checking out.. real good food.

Everyone here though would suggest the Pub though as before and after the game they have a great Pacers crowd there.

It's not uncommon to see Pacers brass at the Pub as well...

Think ill check it out. Where's the closest cheapest parking. I forget. Last year I just went into the garage that connected to the fieldhouse.

Yeah just go to the garage off of Alabama. You can find free parking, but I end up parking there as it's just easier and more convenient. It's cheap and connected to the fieldhouse... much better than driving around trying to find the cheapest parking.

The Pub btw, is across the street from the Fieldhouse (pennsylvania street side) on Georgia St.

Is the Pub the bar across from the main entrance of Conseco?

Please don't wear Colts gear to a Pacer game.

Also the cheapest and closest parking is the lot that is right behind the fieldhouse garage. Its $5. I refer to it as the bail bonds lot, because it has a small bail bonds office right above the parking attendant. This lot is connected to the Fieldhouse garage so its really easy.

I am going to kill 2 birds with one stone for you here. The PTO lot is on the corner of Pennsylvania ave and south street across from Arbys it cost 5 bucks to park there. Cheap and convienient for a quick entrance and exit from downtown. And the PTO will be out there pre game knocking back some brews and talking Pacers.
Cheap parking and cheap beer solved!

I'll pick up a sixer and see if I can find the place. If a stranger walks up, don't be alarmed, probably me . Lol.

Easy to find the lot and the PTO.. I gave them a shout out when I was home and went to the opener.. If you drive past the fieldhouse (on left) and Pub on right.. just keep going a short ways (about a block?) and you'll find the $5.00 lot on left and the Arbys on right. The PTO gang is across the street from Arbys (to the right when looking at the Arbys). Next time I make it home to a game, I'll be sure to join the tailgate!

I would tell you to park in the connected garage because they expect bad weather, but they updated it to say the rain isn't coming until 12 Midnight.

I'm coming down with a friend that is bringing all their kids to their first game. So, we're parking in the connected garage (friends wife is pregnant/morally opposed to walking after the game )

Got tickets 17 rows up for $17/piece. Crazy. Anyone interested, there are tickets in the Lower Level for $39, mid level behind the hoop for $5-$8, and mid level center for $18. Balcony, like Smits said, is as low as $.79

However, as of 4 days ago there were a TON of tickets available, now there are only 600 some on StubHub. Last week it was 1500+.

Good sign!

It was a request. Not a demand. I can make whatever request I want. Nobody has to follow through on them if they don't want to.

Additionally, "telling somebody what to wear" would be saying something along the lines of "You shouldn't wear colts gear to a pacer game"

I just hate it when people wear football **** to a basketball game.

It's not like he commanded him to wear Pacer gear, he asked politely

But, it can get old seeing IU/Colts gear, depending on who won last night

It is annoying seeing all those bandwagon Colts downtown wearing their Colts gear to Pacers games. Esp. for that Pacers/Magic game during SupermardigrastimesuqarepaloozaBowl. If the Colts had sucked I bet they wouldn't have all been wearing that gear.

oh.... wait.

This is why that thread a few months ago about how expensive games were was so confusing. It's so cheap to go see the Pacers. Even sitting 30 rows back is only 5 bucks! You can have a beer, a hot dog and decent seat for only $20!

There are two big reasons why I decided I was going to go to every game this season. It won't be like this forever and there is no excuse for me not to take advantage of it.

I wear a Colts hoodie outside at every game, and I will continue to do so!:D

The only thing that irks me is when someone wears a Clippers jersey to a Pacers vs Bucks game. What's the point? Lol :)
