Hill will be playing tonight VIA JMV's Twitter

Hopefully sparingly to get back in the flow.

I'm sure his minutes will be limited but I still see no reason to play him before the All-Star Break.

Especially against the Bobcats.

maybe just to knock the rust off against a terrible team? I tend to agree with you though, let him rest, no need to push it.

This is really stupid there is no need for him to be anywhere but at his house resting for a week so he can be completely healthy and even if he is. He shouldn't play tonight vs the dleague squad when you can have 6 days off if he doesn't.

Maybe the G. Hill at Starting Point Guard experiment starts tonight, perfect opponent to try new things against. It's like a glorified walkthrough......watch us lose now.

Listening to JMV now and the struggles with the 2nd team to score. I imagine Hill is seen as a solution for this, and potentially a way to reduce minutes for Paul George (who has a game Friday and a dunk contest Saturday).

If he's truly healthy, then there's no reason to make him wait. I'm fine with this as long as he's not rushing things.

I trust Vogel has a better idea of what to do and how Hill is feeling compared to the rest of us bozos on here.

I'd rather see him back now, then play 2 games next week before we face the gauntlet of Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Portland, Philadelphia, New York (twice) and the Clippers. Quicker the team can get the chemistry back the better.

Maybe they anticipate a little swelling, and want a week to evaluate? Playing him a game prior to a week of rest makes perfect sense to me.

I like it.. As long as he isn't still hurting from it. He gets a chance to start back into getting into the gameflow and knock the rust off.. Then get's a break with All-Star weekend. Seems like a great situation to me.

If you sit him he will be sitting "rusting" for that much longer. If he aggrevates it somehow by playing, he now has more time to get back, without missing a game.

But... what if he is healthy now? ;)

I don't see the reasoning behind continuing to bench someone even if they are cleared and 100%. If he can play, play him. Limit him? Sure. I have no problem with that. But when a player says he is good to go and the doctor has no problem with that, why keep him benched?

What will an extra 6 days of rest do? Insurance? For what?

Toss him in with AJ, Dahntay, Lou and the Enforcer when we are up 30. Health is a priority, so play him 10 or so minutes, VERY sparingly.

He said the ankle was a bit sore coming into the morning shoot around yesterday. Makes no sense to play him at this point. Another week off would probably do it wonders.

I'm not going to be happy if Lance is benched. Even though AJ's playing well and the 2nd unit might be better off right now with him at point, I still think it's a bad idea. Lance is becoming consistent and he's making a play or 2 every game that no one else on the team can make. He doesn't really deserve to be benched IMO. I guess whatever Vogel thinks is best for the team is cool with me though.

If it happens I promise I won't ***** as long as AJ keeps up the good work.

Hill was expected to return against the Hornets, but he showed up Tuesday sore. He's scheduled to play on a limited basis tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats. http://www.indystar.com/article/20120222/SPORTS04/202220333/Pacers-notebook-Hometown-intrigues-New-Orleans-Gordon

Thank god...limit him to about 10 - 15 mins.

Get him back in the mix slowly...we really missed him on the court

I'm sure he dresses, but won't play.

He played well after coming back from the injury. Not really spectacular but he's one of the reasons the bench did well against the Bobcats.
