Nice job by Humphries on avoiding being posterized.

Surprised he didn't want the fame.

wish he'd do that more often. teams have to respect his outside shot, now it's just using that to his advantage.

Nice stand-up, arms-by-sides defensive posture from Johan Petro. Solid fundamentals on display.

The player made a mistake. Perto played George for the jumper as he was closing the gap, hence the reason why he wasn't in a defensive stance to defend the drive. The jab step by George was just the icing on the cake to prevent Perto from getting into his defensive stance when George didn't take the initial shot. It was a good awareness by George. If anything, I would catagorize George's drive as that "Oh *****!" type of move against the defense. To those that play basketball will know what I'm talking about.

If George continues to develop his triple threat moves to create separation to attack the basket while still maintaining his 3PT accuracy, George will be a NIGHTMARE matchup for most teams. A 6'10" SG who can shoot, defend multiple positions, and drive....scary.

Bender?

;)

Well at least they finally got him. It only took a decade. :D

Did anyone see if ESPN used the video from when PG dunked over Roy after practice? They mentioned to our PR staff that they were going to use it, but I didn't see it.

Here's the video:

I don't rememeber, but I thought we used Bender at the SF and PF spots when he was able to play?

EDIT: Nevermind. I just watched some of his highlights. The man was a monster for his height. He could have very well been the first "prototype" 6'11" player to play the SG spot.

Awesome video montage of George practicing/showing off some dunks.
I bet somebody could make some great GIFs out of that.
