I did my part.

There was a young man, maybe 9 or 10, behind us cheering as loudly in the last minutes as he was at the beginning of the game.

Reminded me of why I was a Pacer fan, in the midst of all adversity.

With the permission of his mom, I gifted him my autographed DG jersey.

Some fan will remember this game fondly, and I sacrificed something for the future.

Go Pacers.

Was he cheering for the Pacers?

Maybe you should have given him a LeBron jersey. I kid, I kid.

Very, very cool thing to do for the young man and it's rare where people take an opportunity like that to make a memory.

Very cool of you to give that youngster your jersey. Now we have a new Pacer fan for life.

I've got a similar story via someone I went to grade school with who brought her son to his first Pacers game tonight. She said that someone gave him a shirt they had caught and told him to stay a true fan (while she wore a Lebron jersey to the game, she made sure her kid wore a Danny jersey).

Bulls fans are the worst. It was true then and it's still true today. I'd rather sit in the middle of 1000 knicks fans than sit next to 2 front running jock sniffing Bulls bandwagon fans.

Also wow look how young Debbie Knox and Mike Ahern looked there (well they were young then weren't they).

I'm going to the Pacers game in Chicago in a few weeks. It's going to be a terrible non-basketball experience.

I know this is off topic, and but at the end of that video did she say playoff tickets would range from $8-$25? Were tickets really that cheap in 1990 or did I hear it wrong? That just seems unfathomable.

Some of us believe we bleed Blue and Gold. It is now obvious that BillS truly does. You, good sir, just restored some of my lost faith in humanity. I really needed that today.
