Check out what I just picked up. Thought it was so hilarious that Mike Conley's mom might be donating his clothes to goodwill.

Anyone else have have finds they would like to share? BTW, I also picked up a sweet Brad Miller Jersey that is practically brand new for like $2! Wearing it to the next game.

I used to hit Goodwill all the time, but ever since they started putting the good stuff online, its just gone downhill in terms of finds.

It wasn't at Goodwill, but I did get it for $1.50 at JC Penny:

Goodwill is crap ever since they started acting like they are running Antiques Roadshow.

I did donate some rather nice clothes to Goodwill last year. Can you believe I was a size 29 pant back in college? I'm a 32/33 now. Thanks marriage! haha

Being a former Goodwill employee I have seen that some of the nice stuff now goes to their internet site much like eBay. You can still find some stuff that is good in the stores around the turn of the seasons because they get a lot of Target's stuff that don't sell. As far as being a former employee, my mother told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say, don't say nothing as all.

About 3 years ago, I found a first edition of the book "A Charlie Brown Christmas," but haven't found anything neat there in quite some time.

That's one of the things I always look for when I go there. I will find one some day. I did find an original, gold tennis ball logo, ringer-style t-shirt there once. I also found a tambourine that looked old and interesting. I looked up the phrase printed on it ("What New York Needs is a Four Day Week"...something like that) and it was given away to people that attended a John Lennon concert in New York in the early 1970's. I found a youtube video of the concert and it showed people shaking the tambourines.

At Value World (similar to Goodwill, but even cheaper) I found an unused Razor Shines Indianapolis Indians jersey that was given away on their souvenir Sunday promotions to the first few thousand fans. I had one that was kid-sized back then and this one just happened to be an adult large that fits well now.

Extremely late on this, but I finally got around to taking a picture of the Smits Happens shirt.

I regularly hit up thrift stores for gems and resell them. Goodwill has definetly killed their fan base in this area. I believe they pull the stuff they think is "collectible" or "valuable" and put it online now.
