Not Bowen, not Ben Wallace.

The guy is guarding everybody, blocking 7 shots a game, and just simply dominating.

AK-47 is amazing, and the assumption than European/Asian players can't play D is now invalidated.

No offense, but ROn doesn't even stand a CHANCE of winning DPOY this year. Neither does Ben Wallace.

Ron had a distinct sympathy edge last year because he hadn't won one before. AK47 has a sympathy LANDSLIDE this year.

If AK47 keeps up at HALF this pace for 82 games, he'll win DPOY easily.

I actually thought AK47 would win last year :whoknows:

Either way, I knew it would come some time or later. He flat out deserves it - he is probably the most unique player in the NBA.

I don't know if he can keep up all the blocking.

For someone like that with such a "slight" stature he is simply amazing. Forget it, he is amazing by any standard.
Yeah, if he keeps this up he'll win it this year. Still love Ron though.

Maybe that's why Ron is going for MVP this year :p
