Ben Wallace's brother, Sam Wallace, died today of a brain tumor, at the age of 61. Ben will play tonight, but will fly home and then likely miss the rest of the west coast swing, which includes games at Denver and Utah.

So his brother was over 30 years older than him?

And it always sucks to lose a sibling. I sadly know the feeling.

I just figured I'd go with a change of pace, so I delved into my Otakon album for something new......

I thought it was a nice picture. Don't worry, I'm not in there anywhere.

Sorry to here this news. My prayers are with his family.

His brother was really 61? How old is Ben? That's a huge age gap...

I believe Ben is the youngest of 7 children, all brothers.

Sam was the oldest.

Ben is the 10th of 11 children, and the youngest of eight boys.

That's just how they roll in White Hall, Alabama...

That was a great game against the Clippers tonight, double overtime. Hunter came up with a big steal and both Wallaces with 2 consecutive blocks in the closing seconds of the second overtime.

Anyone that still doubts the Pistons backup PG spot, well, our backup PG won the game for us tonight. We do not win this game without Lindsey Hunter disrupting LAC's guards.

If the Clips had even a mediocre backcourt, I might be impressed.

Asked afterward if O'Neal's absence contributed to Charlotte's win, Knight bristled.

"What about Primoz? They didn't have Shaq, but we didn't have Primoz," he said.
