These gifts for you since last Christmas:

Frank Vogel is now the coach.

David West was acquired as a free agent (on a great contract).

Paul George has grown two inches.

Lance Stephenson has stayed out of trouble.

Brian Shaw is associate head coach.

We still have a boatload of cap space.

Tyler Hansbrough is showing glimpses of beastliness.

Grecian Formula has been banned from the Fieldhouse.

Merry Christmas to all my Pacers Digest brethren.

Christ is born!

We made the playoffs, but that was more of a chanukah miracle.

We filled our roster with talented, young guys.

Our oldest player is Foster at 34, followed by West and Dahntay at 30 (DJ's birthday is Tuesday, the day before mine).

We have $14mil in cap space.

Even Santa Claus (http://twitter.com/#!/Hoya2aPacer/status/150028342660313090/photo/1) is rooting for us!

Not to be a wet blanket here or anything but aren't the tickets like $10.00?

It's not surprising. We always sellout for home openers.

If the Pacers win 2-3 to start the season I could see a real surge in interest taking hold.

Looking at Ticketmaster, the overall amount of tickets available is much fewer.

Especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

The beginning of the season is looking really good. Near sellouts.

If we open the season well and keep it going, I expect crowds like the ones in the beginning will continue.

If we lose the home opener it will be tough to get fans in those seats... Hopefully we start off strong with those first five games of the season looking easy on paper.

And we got rid of the grinch !!!!

There are plenty of grinches still on these boards. You will never get rid of them. Merry Christmas, and a happy (sometimes) basketball season for all.

There's one grinch in particular I'm happy is gone and that's j.o.b. love em or hate em , the positives outweigh the negatives and that's just something I wouldnt even dare say in the past. Here's to the pacers revival , it's been a long time coming, make us proud in 2012 lets go pacers, we the fans have your back.
