Frank said it would be a game time decision

I think it was said it'll be a game time decision.

Pendergraph (sprained knee) and Amundson (just acquired yesterday) will not play.

If I had to guess, I'd say he'll play. Went to the pacers FanJam the other day and he looked like he was in great shape. Think he scored around 13 points.

If West does not play it will not be because of the injury right? Didnt I read somewhere that he may not play because he is not in game shape and isnt familiar with the system? In other words, we don't need to be worried if he is not on the court?

He should play. Scored 13 points at Fan Jam and looked fine.

Even if its less minutes than expected because of stamina, I would expect to see him.

I did notice ESPN has West listed as the starter tonight. On Friday, it was Hans.

West also is quoted abotu saying he doesn't want to mess up the team's flow and look like a deer in headlights, I guess if that's what we're worried about though, wouldn't we rather get that out of the way now?

Will be decided after shoot around. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play. Numerous times in the scrimmage he looked lost because he didnt know the play.

I hope he does. He is the difference between winning and losing. And, we don't need to go into the season with two straight losses under our belts.

I hope he does play. I kind of expect him to not understand some of the plays that we run so lets get them out of the way as soon as we can. This is what the preseason and training camp are for.

If he doesn't understand the plays there is all the more reason for him to be out there.

If his conditioning is okay, he should definitely not let his lack of knowing plays stop him. This is just glorified practice tonight.

Better than not playing at all. Time for him to get his feet wet a little!
