Game is live on NBA network. He just dunked and dropped a dime pass to Gasol on back to back plays. He's gonna be good on the Lakers

I'm going to miss him. He's going to get a lot more recognition in LA. He'll probably get that dunk contest invite.

I just knew I would see a topic on here about that.

I feel the same way though, McBob will def. be in more highlights this year.

J-Mac is going to grow a lot on the Lakers thanks to Kobe and Pau's intelligent game!

Thank God this is just Josh McRoberts and not PG or Roy.

Wow the clippers might actually be really good this year. Billups to Griffin off the backboard.

Ugh I can't believe I missed the first qtr! I was looking forward to this game.

Good for him. Still don't think we'll miss him that much.

Josh would've gotten little to no minutes with us and we've improved.

I don't think he'll be missed too much on the court. He's in a good situation with the Lakers.

Bird made the right decisions.

Okay Bynum is one hell of a dirty player. He just locked arms with CP3 and basically threw him to the ground on purpose one handed.

Clippers are better than I thought. Deandre Jordan looks like he took his game to the next level. Paul, Billups, Butler, Jordan, and Griffin is a formidable starting 5.

He became a crowd favorite within his first 3 minutes of play...I can't believe we let him go to fill our roster with Pendergraph, then have to grab Amundson because of Pendergraph.

Only Laker w/ a postive +/-. JOB'd be tearing his hair out trying to figure out what to do with Josh in the 2nd half right now.

McRoberts is balling in the 3rd with 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. Yet, I bet nobody has mentioned Derrick Favors 23 points and 12 rebounds. I've never been in favor of trading Granger much, but Favors is a guy I would have jumped at and when I said before the draft, all the way until he was traded to Utah there was a group that said they don't get it.

I got a feeling those people will, and soon. McRoberts is the most overrated human ever on this board.

I am watching that game him and Burks have been excellent but they look like like haven't playing together before. In a few months once that team gels they will be a good up in coming team I really like what Kevin Oconner is doing. Burks and Hayward fit together really well IMO and that FC is gonna be amazing. They are a pass first good defensive pg away from being one of my favorite teams. But man is Favors fun to watch he has the potential to be a monster.

Matt Harpring needs to retire from broadcasting he is unbearable.

Kobe looks like he is trying too hard - he has taken a couple of hard falls - for a preseason game. May be seeing these as a statement for the LA attention.

No, he wouldn't. He'd have his mind made up before they went back to the locker-room at halftime: Bench Josh, play Murphy.

Its not a game unless Murphy hits a trailing 3.

How long til Kobe looks around and realizes 5 of the top 8 people in his team's rotation are Steve Blake, Matt Barnes, Josh McRoberts, Derek Fisher's corpse, and Metta World Peace and then promptly goes on a killing spree?

Oh and that his coach is Mike Brown.

Yeah I would have taken drafting Burks as a bad sign for Hayward if I didn't think they fit well together. Did Favors show any new post moves or how did he get his points? I was trying to force myself to sleep (see how well that worked) to be at the gym at 5 am in the morning, so I missed most of it.

little bit of everything very active and got a few dunks and easy put backs. But he did make a few moves in the post that he couldnt make last year and his jumper looked better.

Kanter looks really comfortable in the post great footwork and hands but he didnt do much. I just liked how he and Burks looked. Burks is really talented a very good passer for a SG but he will likely struggle a bit early IMO but he can take just about anyone off the dribble he has excellent ball handling skills. But he has upside imo that few in the draft last year have. But he has to improve his decision making.

Mcbob ended up with 2,2,1 Not counting the turnovers, amazing player.

Murphy ended up with 3,2,1 not counting his amazing D, both players are going to help big time, I could say that the drop from Odom to Mcbob is not that big is pretty much like watching the same person but white

If McRoberts retired today, do you think the NBA would make them wait 5 years before he could join the Hall of Fame or would he get a special automatic admission?

one thing i did notice about mcbobs as a laker that was different than as a pacer. he is much more dilligent about boxing out his man on defense. glad to see that has finally sunk in.
