Simon Says is a tool Larry Bird uses to determine which players are coach-able. It's not the tool, it's a tool.

He was good. He played PF the first half and C the 2nd. He took Hibbert off the dribble a few times and hit a few open jays. Surprisingly we didn't run PnR once with him.

I really lost interst Dantay was ball hogging the whole game it got to the point where i just kepy checking my phone because i didnt want to watch it any more

MG sumed it up best........mg_indy Michael Grady
Practice/no Practice...I'm willing to bet Dahntay Jones hasn't attempted this many shots since high school. #Pacers #FanJam

so sad but so true

David West looks pretty good out here...call him "Mr. Mid-Range J"...will we see him Tuesday??

Tyren Johnson looked good for a Dleaguer certainly held his own.

My personal impressions from the scrimmage...

1) David West looks ready to go. I'm not worried about his knee any longer. Dood is GOOD.

2) Roy also looked good.

3) Hans never stops. Ever.

4) I'm glad Jeff is back.

5) DJones shoots a lot.

6) Lance never shoots.

7) Danny didn't do much.

8) Famous won't stick.

9) Collison and GHill seemed to work together pretty well. Both looked pretty good.

10) Paul still needs work on his handles.

That's all I got. It was fun, I'm really glad they scrimmaged this year.

My kids were out there for simon says. It was corny but my young boys will never forget being out there with the players. They said Paul George was awesome and he gave them high fives.

David West looked fine. And that scrimmage was a hard practice type scrimmage. No goofing around at all. Players were serious, even *****ing to the refs when there was a questionable call.

I also got like six small dry erase boards if anybody is in need of one.

I thought fan jam was awesome, especially showing up late after the Colts game. I met PsychoT, Jarrid Famous, DC, PG and Fiesty Foster and they were all really nice. Hell, Psycho T signed the paper roster and crossed out Rush (Pic below LOL). I asked Paul George if he is planning on being in the dunk contest, and he said "Im trying my hardest". I even got to get a picture with Jeff, he is the nicest guy!

I had a blast at the Fan Jam. Finally met El Pacero and Christian Dudley, as well as Paul George and Jeff Foster. Took ~600 pictures on my brother's Nikon, took a bunch of video with my Canon, and got several personal shots with my iPhone. I'll import everything, select the best, and put them up on here ASAP.

Also, as far as the current lineup goes, I think Darnell Lazare and Tyren Johnson both deserve some space on the team. TJ hit (I think) four 3-pointers, and Lazare had a sweet dunk on/around PG. One or the other of them could end up being valuable pieces. I wish Famous had shown out a little more, but it's just a scrimmage. We'll see what happens against the Bulls on Tuesday.

Good time. Funny thing though, this lady for security vehemently guarded like the entire section I was sitting in. They all had reserved signs on them with the exception of the top two rows, and you had to have some kind of special sticker to sit there. She kept kicking people out of those seats all night long, almost getting into an argument with one guy. They stayed empty the whole time. I happened to notice as we were leaving that Rush wasn't there. Guess I know why now.

I cant' believe that Tyler crossed out Rush! No love lost there I guess!

I'm also glad they scrimmaged. With practice time so short, it makes sense that they weren't fooling around today and actually played hard. My guess is that Vogel scrutinized this scrimmage the same as any other that they've had so far. They were obviously experimenting, as some players changed sides after halftime.

Or maybe the guy has a sense of humor and/or a penchant for accuracy. ;)

The amount of speculation some folks can spin out of a very tiny bit of information continues to amaze me.

By some folks, I guess that includes me, but I guess it includes you as well, since you are speculating that Tyler has a sense of humor and/or a penchant for accuracy. So it's like the pot calling the kettle black. Let's face it, when it's a third person report, none of us know the exact circumstances, and half of the comments on this board are speculative. What I'll do is take things at their perceived face value, and in that regard, I can't imagine why anyone would deface something that he just signed (memorabilia) just to get a laugh. Though I'll speculate that I could be wrong!

I was; that's my 'camera bag' for when I go to games. I was up and about through the whole thing, but spent most of the scrimmages in row 2 behind the Blue Team bench.
