Bo Outlaw was waived by the Grizz.

An energetic hustle PF /undersized C off the bench.

No way I'd do it with Jeff and Jermaine healthy, but Bo could help and Edwards can be dumped.

Thoughts?

Odd also is the dumping of Troy Bell. Memphis has one deep team.

id definitely rather have bo on my team than edwards........
especially given how depleted our front court is with injuries.

what sort of salary would he have to be given?

Yes, yes God yes!!!!!!

Bo Outlaw would be perfect for our team. Even with Jermaine & Foster here.

I completely agree. I would love to see this guy in a Pacers uniform. I'd be the first to buy his jersey.

I think he'd be a great compliment to JO...I realllllly hope we go after him.

They waived him? Wow.

Yes, pick him up! He'd be great to have off the bench.

I would imagine that his contract with Memphis was guaranteed, so the cost to the Pacers would be the veterans' minimum salary (less than a million?)

Yes, I would love to have him coming off the bench.

Isn't he starting to get old?

He's still in his thirties, so I'd still sign him to be our 15th man so we can jettison Kerry's right hand man.

Yeah, I've always liked Bo. If he's got anything left in the tank, that's a good pickup.

Gotta wonder why Memphis dropped him... anybody keeping up w/ Memphis?

Memphis uses a ten-man rotation, and with the signing of Brian Cardinal, Outlaw was out of the rotation (Battier will be their backup SF and Cardinal will be their backup PF). So Outlaw would get very few minutes. Partly as a favor to him so he can play more elsewhere, and partly because they want to use their extra spots (outside the ten-man rotation) on developing young players (at Outlaw's position that would be Ryan Humphrey), they waived Outlaw.

Bo is an ok player, nice hustle, and energy player. I would rather see what we have on our team first. Bo will most likely be there.

I think he would be a great pickup provided we don't have to pay big bucks to have him. If Pacertom is correct about the salary then we should definitely get him and dump Edwards. He's a great team guy and brings a lot of energy every night. He's only 33, would give us some depth at PF, and would contribute way more than Edwards ever will.

Eh. I guess it's alright, but Jay's right. He's not the player he used to be.

Bell didn't look good when they were here, while Burks really did. Makes sense to me.

Asked afterward if O'Neal's absence contributed to Charlotte's win, Knight bristled.

"What about Primoz? They didn't have Shaq, but we didn't have Primoz," he said.

Oh I think it would be a good pickup , but I don't think we'll do it :(

Yeah, Bo played in most if not all of Memphis' games last year and was a "real" part of their rotation - not just scrub minutes or to give a guy a one minute breather (IIRC). Vet minimum, sign the guy!
