A solid defending SG off the bench?

CHICAGO (AP)—Guard Keith Bogans was waived by the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Bogans started all 82 games last season and averaged 4.4 points in 17.8 minutes per game. The Bulls, who had been holding him out of practice, had a $1.73 million contract option and a Dec. 19 deadline for a decision on it.

We have a better, younger version of Bogans in Brandon Rush, a guy who will likely be buried in our depth chart, so I don't see the point in picking him up.

Keith Bogans is/was probably the worst starter in the NBA

Didn't we already take a turn with Bogans?

Why try again?

If you watched last year's playoff series against the Bulls then you definitely know why signing him is a bad idea...

I remember him tearing us up when we left him open for some corner threes courtesy of the attention D.Rose got.

I remember him badly missing a bunch of those threes, especially early in the series.

I think he'd be a better signing than Redd, but neither of them will fill the hole that Crawford would have.
