Numbers only please. We did this last year just to get an average.

Pacers will win 55 games.

I'll go w/ 50, but I that's as high as I think we can get. I'm really thinking lower.

Before the injuries hit I would have gone with 58 and being neck-and-neck with Detroit right to the end of the season.

Injures won't be that big of a deal.

JO will be back in about three weeks, and Reggie wouldn't contribute that much anyways. We will be better off with a SJax/Freddie at SG anyways.

Early injuries make me think it'll be a slow start. 50 isn't out of the question tho. Their pride may will them to that mark as they make their final push toward the playoffs.

Actually... a slow start (not pathetic start) might not be a bad thing. Don't need them peaking too soon!

? Damn! That would be sweet, but it would also pretty much entain us to win virtually every game in the 2nd half of the season, but who knows, might happen;).

How many did the Bulls win that one season? 72? Pacers will get 73, just to really tick off Chicago.

And, it would give Bird the last laugh in the Jordan vs. Bird debate.

Ron Artest just had his first season as an NBA star. He'll only be better.
Jermaine O'Neal is a year closer to his prime. He'll only be better.
Our backcourt has improved drasticly with Jackson.
Bender has the talent to surpass anything Al Harrington ever done, and I doubt he chokes in the playoffs like Ak always did.
Pollard should be better (he couldn't be any worse) and Harrison could be a stud.
Tinsley get's better by the minute.
Fred Jones will sucessfully defend his Slam Dunk Championship.

If the injuries heal up quicker than expected, then I'd expect 64 wins. If not then I'd "settle" for 60 wins.

The East was ridiculously weak last season. There won't be as many "automatic win" games. Even some of the bad teams are going to do better this year (Boston, Cleveland).
