Huge game today for the Colts. They haven't lost two games in a row in two years (30 games), but today offers a definite opportunity for continued failure.

Time: 1pm EST

A false start penalty on a punt? And a fake punt? WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 02:04 PM

Lord Helmet
10-31-2004, 02:06 PM

Once again the Ponies wait until 3rd down to convert. Whoo.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 02:17 PM
Peyton has been throwing almost exclusively to Reggie. Perhaps pushing your QB around a bit pays dividends? :ninja:

Lord Helmet
10-31-2004, 02:27 PM

Peyton has been a bit inaccurate today. If he'd hit that pass to Marvin on the money, the Colts are going for 6.

Ah, the no-gain run on 2nd and 10. Wouldn't be a Colts possession without one.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 02:35 PM

21-14 KC, 6:08 left in the 2nd quarter

So, we're probably looking at a two touchdown deficit at the half (a defensive stop is...unlikely, to be nice), with KC receiving the ball to begin the 2nd half. Ugh.

Go defense, I guess.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:08 PM
KC must have liked that screen play the Colts ran. They just ran it for almost the exact same result.

TD Chiefs

28-14 KC, 4:59 left in the 2nd quarter

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:15 PM
The Colts offensive line is getting schooled by the Chiefs defensive line. Peyton is unsettled as it is. Yeesh.

Well, KC has the ball back. What's the over/under on how long it'll take them to score?

Lord Helmet
10-31-2004, 03:17 PM
Can our D be any worse?

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:22 PM
Can our D be any worse?

Honestly, no. It really couldn't.

Lord Helmet
10-31-2004, 03:24 PM

Well they have some time and all their timeouts. Wouldn't hurt to try.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:28 PM
Everyone's out of synch. Timing is way off.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:29 PM
Holy crap, how'd Peyton put that ball in there?

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:31 PM

obnoxiousmodesty

Vandy misses a 54 yard FG wide left.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 03:36 PM
31-14 KC at the half

The whole team is accountable for this decrepid pile of excrement.

Oh, KC gets the ball to begin the 2nd half, in case you were wondering.

Lord Helmet
10-31-2004, 03:39 PM
Do you think we can get it together for the second half?A lot of those plays would have been TD's but they were almost always overthrown. We are forced to have our D make a stop (Which rarely has happened today) at the beggining of the 3rd and then we have to get some points on the board.Don't get to discouraged I'm sure last year at the TB MNF game we were way worse off at the half.

Natston
10-31-2004, 03:41 PM
It's like watchin a 10 year old at the helm of the Colts on Madden. :shakehead: I'll tell this right now, Meeks needs to be fired right now. The Chiefs are running their staple plays and we're playing like they are flocking surprised when it happens...

Ok, I am watching this on gamecast.....WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH US????? Why is Peyton doing so bad?!?!?!?! Someone tell me...

Peyton thinks our wide outs are 7-8 feet tall for some reason. The Dline is hasn't even got close to Green and the refuse to put their hands up. The play of the O Line has been lackluster to say the least. The way we're playing, we'd be losing by the same score to the blind school... :(

Natston
10-31-2004, 03:53 PM
Looks like Tony Dungy woke up retarded again today. Thought he learned his lesson last week, or from the last 7 years. Oh well.

THIS is the reason Bill Polian should never run a football team..........

And why Irsay shouldn't be an owner...

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 04:10 PM
Is it wrong I'm begging the defense to just hold KC to FGs from now on?

...and why do I think that'd be impressive if they did do that?

Natston
10-31-2004, 04:10 PM
Why the **** did they play so conservative on third down against that defense?

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 04:11 PM

10-31-2004, 04:53 PM
Well, the Chiefs stopped themselves. Colts ball.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 04:55 PM
Peyton was crazy for throwing that ball. Lucky it wasn't intercepted.

obnoxiousmodesty
10-31-2004, 04:56 PM

obnoxiousmodesty

Based upon conference record, Houston is ahead of the Colts right now. That means the Colts and Titans are sitting at the bottom of the division at this point.

Crazy.
