I just got offered Manning and my 10th round pick next year for Shaub and his 11th round pick next year.

There is 12 rounds in our draft. So pretty much its Shaub for Manning. I am really thinking about it because of the news that has come out lately about Manning.

The biggest risk is Manning comes back in the next couple games and tears it up, but from the news I have read he is not close.

QB: Peyton Manning, Sam Bradford
RB: LeSean McCoy, DeAngelo Williams, Knoshown Moreno, Roy Helu
WR: Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Mike Wallace, Danny Amendola
TE: Brandon Pettigrew, Ben Watson
K: David Akers
DEF: New England

12 team league
non ppr
6 pts for passing/receiving/rushing TD
1 pt for every 10 yard rushing/receiving
1 pt for every 25 yard passing
Start 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 K 1 DEF

Tough trade. Schaub puts up good numbers, and even if both of them are healthy it is relatively comparable. I'd probably give strong consideration to this trade.

Also, Garrett Hartley is out for Week 1 tonight against the Packers. You might want to pick up another kicker before you start Hartley tonight.

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up Akers the other day and just had a brain fart when typing.

I am strongly considering it. I like Sam and think he will have a good year, but I think Shaub will probably have an even better year.

Also, since it is a keeper league if Sam does blow up while having Shaub I can always keep him for next year.

Yeah I have Bradford as my backup in my league too. I think he will have a big year too, but it is a pretty big gamble to take on a second year player without any great receivers. You know Schaub will put up points with Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels to throw to. The Peyton injury is the big wildcard here, and consider even if he does come back this season, it's likely to take him a few weeks to really get things moving. With no training camp or preseason, that's tough.
