Kstat, if you see this thread, i have another quetion for you.

How is McDyess looking.

McDyess has been the story of camp so far. He looks GREAT. He looks like he's %90 of his all-star self. He's been in better shape than any of us could have hoped so far. He isn't an exact clone of 1995 Dice, but its almost impossible to tell which leg he injured.

This guy is the best big man we've EVER had off the bench. I really don't know who to compare him to. He's got a good jumper, catches alley-oops over the top, cleans the glass better than any piston except ben wallace, its almost like stealing. Actually, McDyess might be BETTER of the defensive glass. This guy has NO buisness coming off the bench in the NBA, none.

You know who he reminds me of? Al Harrington. Not because he's selfish, but because he's consistently just that much better than anyone else's backups.

The other story has been Carlos Delfino. The kid just knows how to play the game. You just have to watch him play, you can just tell that he "gets" it. His game is taylor-made for the NBA, much like Ginoboli's was. He doesn't play like your normal NBA rookie.

Both Delfino and McDyess are more effective players than anyone that came off our bench last season. I don't even think thats in question at this point.

I actually wasn't going to say anything about it, because you really need to see these two guys for yourself, but, you asked.

Let's just hope that McDyess doesn't get injured.

Yeah, thats always going to be the big question mark around his neck.

I will say this, he's showing NO injury effects. No limping, no fatigue, no favoring his leg.

If he gets hurt now, its because he got INJURED, same as everyone else in the NBA. It won be because his leg isnt holding up. I've seen him catch too many lob passes, and tip rebound 3, 4 and 5 times in a row, without stopping, by now to think thats still a problem. That makes me feel better.

I suppose most of you will see some of him on TNT opening night, if you ever flip over.

So...to reiterate the original question of the thread.......

Kstat - do you know by any chance what section at the Palace is near the gates?

Sorry about that, I thought the seating chart would've answered your question.

Sections 214-217.

And might I add, those are dman fine sections. I had 216 last year.
