I think the Pacers should consider Aaron Gray. He opted out in New Orleans. Big body. Played well in playoffs.

I don't know. His agent, Sam Kaiserblade, has a reputation as a real hardass. I don't want to over pay.

Haha, damnit. I was sitting here thinking of a way to say this, but you nailed it.

I'll pass...Aaron Gray just isn't the guy that we need. Best of luck to him, though.

I'd take him as a back up pure Center, if you signed/traded for a top notch pure PF.

If you got Paul Milsap or David West, then I'd be good with Gray playing 15 mins a night behind Roy and keeping a resigned Jeff fresh for a playoff run.

I don't think Gray is "bad" as a 4th or 5th big as long as he's paid that way.

But to be fair: Stanko > NBA

Stuart Gray was a great Pacer. I just figured Aaron Gray would be too. Aaron is working hard to get into shape this offseason and is working on a jumpshot.

I like him as a part-time player. Meaning he would get spot minutes overall. He could be very valuable against the bigger teams for 15 minutes per in those games. he has very good hands.

He's better than Troy Murphy.

I would not mind giving him a look. He has never made much money, so he would be a servicable big in our Center rotation. I think he has really improved his overall game over the last few years. His first year or two in the league was brutal, but he has really worked on his footwork and defense. He can definitely give a team meaningful minutes as a second or third center depending on the team's rotation.

I also really like Fesenko. He is a good young player who is big. He isn't the most mobile, but we are talking about two players who are exclusively backup type of centers. I think Fesenko could command a little more money, because he is bigger than Gray and has a little more potential. He would give us a better chance against beefy centers, once Hibbert gets in foul trouble.

I would be all for signing a guy like these two. We need to add a few bigs this off-season, and with the uncertainty of Foster and McRoberts, we could be looking at adding more bigs than we would hope to. At this point we only have Hibbert and Hansborough, which means we need to add at least four bigs. A player like this could go a long way towards filling our roster with capable players.

I think we can all agree that he'd be an upgrade to Solomon Jones.

Who isn't? I'd rather take a flyer on a undrafted player like Ricky Jackson who is going overseas to play.

How about Semih Erden? I thought he was doing ok with Boston b4 being traded to Cleveland.

I'd be happy to have him at the right price.

Not on this planet.

I wouldn't mind having Troy Murphy back as a 3rd big? Provided that it was on a cheap 1 year deal.

At least he can rebound the damn ball? Something that Hansbro and Hibbert don't seem to care much for doing.

Not a bad choice, I remember when he was killing the Lakers in the playoffs and then he went down, after the game CP3 was talking about how much they needed him and he was sad that Gray wasn't going to be able to play the next game.

Would it be possible to ban posters who even mention bringing back Murphy?

I have had my eye on Aaron Gray for about 4 months. I wouldn't complain if the money is right.

I don't like anything of Fesenko, He is terrible.

I would like a trade with Wolves.

Dahntay Jones (veteran, which they want) and future 2nd rnd pick for Nikola Pekovic. I think he could be a really solid backup for Hibbert. Has a good contract to boot!
