View Full Version : Ramon Sessions

What do you think the possibility of Ramon Sessions coming to us? Cleveland has as many PGs as us and I believe B-Diddy's contract is too big to move. They now have to give time to Irving and they also have Gibson (owed $4M for 2 years) and Manny Harris. There is no reason for them to keep Sessions on the bench or splitting Baron's minutes.

I don't believe what Bird says about Lance one bit so we could throw in Rush, Jones, and a pick for Sessions. That puts Hill at his normal position, PG, and brings in a formidable backup to give us...

PG - Collison/Sessions
SG - George/Hill/Lance
SF - Granger/George
PF - Hans/FA or McBob
C - Hibbert/FA or Foster

The last thing we need is another Guard.

I'd rather rent JJ Hickson with BRush's contract.

We don't need him.

I'd be willing to trade a good amount to get Andy Varejao though.

Don't think we need him. If I had to guess I'd say Collison gets 32 minutes/game next year and Hill takes the other 16 PG minutes while also playing 15 or 16 minutes at the backup 2. Getting Sessions wouldn't be worth the hassle.

Prior to the George Hill trade, I'd have been for acquiring Sessions. Now it would be redundant at best.

Overvalue much?

There's no point in this now.

wouldn't make sense since we got George Hill. We have a bunch of point guards Indiana needs help underneath. I wouldn't trade the pick for Sessions let alone those other guys.
