If Lance is in rotation next year as 1st guard off the bench. How will that affect our draft pick and the potential free agents we bring in. Because I believe Lance can be the Scorer off the pine everyone things we need. Do you think we should look for the best available big in the draft and free agency?

They way its looking like the first guard of the bench will be between AJ and Lance or potentially our first round pick

I just cant help but think had Lance not had those issues and been given much more court time, his learning process would be a lot faster

I think he will be. I think he takes Price's spot. And I think we should look for the best available wing. Rush and Dunleavy are probably gone. D Jones doesn't seem like a long term solution. That leaves just George and Granger. this draft doesnt have really good big men.

jmo, but lance will start the season as the backup PG. and follow a path similar to that of paul george did last season. start as a backup, but by the end of the season be the starter. that depends of course on lance haveing good play as a backup.

depends on a lot of things..

With Vogel coaching, I do think this'll be the first year in a while where people will actually have to earn their spots in the rotation.

I think it is up to Lance and see if he is mature enough to earn playing time. If he does, then the sky's the limit for him. I'd say this is the biggest factor.

I don't think Lance will be on the team next year.

I get the feeling that Bird's constant reference to, "There was some things that happened last year I didn't really like," is about the Lance thing.

From his various comments, it appears Larry didn't like a couple of older players forcing Lance out of the way and felt Vogel should have stepped up and ended it. Instead, the vets were enabled.

I'm not arguing about whether Bird was right. I'm saying this is his stance, and one of the main reasons he's dragged his feet with Frank.

my guess is Lance gets traded, why? because Bird has talked him up so much. i think he is as good as gone.

I doubt Lance is traded anywhere. In fact, I agree with Sookie that Players will have to earn PT this year , and with a new staff of assistants and a fresh look, both players like AJ and Lance will have the opportunity to dictate their playing time based on performance, not prefrence

As much as Larry has hyped this kid, he better be playing some meaningful minutes next season.

For the sake of the franchise's future, I hope that he gets some significant minutes and shows some progress towards the potential that LB talks about...

Thought this was cool. Lance will be at the draft party.

Along with Hibbert, PG and Collison.

He was the first guard kicked off the bench for disciplinary reasons during the playoffs last year... does that count for anything?
