There been any rumors lately with him coming to the Pacers again? I'd love to see us get him, maybe the 15 for him straight up? Or Rush and a bag of basketballs for him.

The way he played in the playoffs, Memphis won't be trading him for a bunch of our crap.

Heck, I doubt the J-Mac + 1st would get it done now.

And no, there haven't been any new rumors of us getting him, though I wish there were.

I think its old news now. I dont think the rumors have resurfaced.

After this performance in the playoffs, I think the asking price will be too much

Memphis is "standing pat" for the draft. Not looking to trade anyone.

memphis is still hoping the new CBA will allow them to keep everyone. good luck with that. since they are in denial, the cost of everyone is more expensive than the pacers are interested in paying.

Latest rumors came out today about Mayo. The Grizz don't want to trade Gay or Mayo unless they get a great offer. If they had their choice, they'd move Mayo before Gay, though. They mainly want to keep their core of guys that played in the playoffs together, well...umm...together--plus keep Rudy. If they'd move anyone, it would be Mayo. The Grizz do say they've received some offers for him.

I think you ( and most fans) are really overrated OJ Mayo's playoff performance. Because he hit some clutch shots, and distributed the ball well coming off the bench, and played solid defense on multiple positions. Statistically he was nothing special for his talent level. ( mainly because of playing time and playing style of pounding it in to bigs)

I do agreed that OJ's value would have gone through the roof if the Grizzlies managed to somehow win game 7 of round two. Because OJ was finally starting and seeing starting minutes. But most importantly next round he would have had Jason Kidd and Jason Terry guarding him, instead of defensive specialist Sefolosha, and given the minutes OJ would have go 20+ pts on most games.

OJ is a big time talent, and given minutes he will produce. People are quick to forget that the age of 20/21 years old when he was a rookie. He was looking guys like Peak Dwyane Wade and Manu Ginobili and Brandon Roy in eye and dropping 30 pts on 60% FG some games on them at young of age.

He is the whole package, and if Bird manages to find a way to steal him tomorrow and then uses him "right" then he will be heavily rewarded.

I have a feeling that Bird will wait until he is a RFA to grab him or wait to his price is down next year when the Grizz realize they can't resgin him in 2012-13. They won't be able to take salary back so that limits the amount of teams that he can go to.

IMO the 2012-13 FA market will benifit the buyers and not the sellers.
