Sure it sucks that we don't have Al anymore but I think Jackson could be what Indiana was missing. Two awesome nights so far. Ron wants it this year.

The Fiesty One had 16 pts! Hopefully these are signs he has developed an offensive game.

Even more impressive is the percentage he shot.
I wonder if they were all putbacks or if he was shooting it...

I just finished glancing at the box score and a couple things stood out to me.

Six assists is pretty impressive for Freddy Jones. Perhaps he's making a push to get some minutes at the 1 as well as the 2.

Scot Pollard also had a decent night. Not huge numbers, but 7 rebounds out of 16 minutes is nothing to scoff at. Especially when a couple are offensive rebounds.

Last thing - Hurray for Jermaine O'Neal continuing to impress me with his free throw shot! You'll never hear me complain about 8 for 8 from a big man.

Anyhow, just thought those numbers stood out a bit.

Boyle used "knifing" and "storming" to describe a couple of Pollard's plays, which I found encouraging.......

Hey what about Foster. he even hit a few 15 foot jumpers, and I like what Reggie said about him, that he to shoot when he's open.

Foster needs to take good shots, but he must take them every game.

He can't guard Shaq, so what does it matter?.........:p

Foster's performance was impressive, there's no doubt about it. Hopefully that will be a trend we continue to see.

The Fiesty One had 16 pts! Hopefully these are signs he has developed an offensive game.

He's doing what he does every preseason. Once the regular season starts, he misses a few, puts his head between his legs and stops taking the open jump shot.

He showed me years ago he can hit the 15ft jumper. The problem has always been confidence.
