It's been almost two months since New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire hurt his back while making a pregame dunk before Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs against the Boston Celtics. Sorry, Knicks fans, but he's still hurting.

"It's still tight," said Stoudemire, according to the New York Daily News. "It's still pretty tight. It was pretty serious. It's a muscle that takes a while to heal."

The 28-year-old said that he would have kept playing if the team had moved on to the second round though "it probably wouldn't have been smart," he said, according to the paper.

The Daily News also notes that Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony have talked to each other about getting together in Los Angeles next month to work out together.

Now I see why some questioned the long-term deal with New York.

Then talk to Carmelo about you two playing some defense once in a while.

Problem solved, or not. Hopefully not

.... oh, not that type of hurting? Even better!
