Here is a really amazing Paul George rookie mix..... just imagine wat he could have done if he played the whole season... played great in the playoffs. It's looking like a bright future for him and the pacers.

That video just got me amped for next season, and hoping there isn't a labor stoppage. I miss Pacers basketball.

On an unrelated note, I spotted myself walking by in the background of one of those dunks. How I miss the dunks...

That's great.

Here's a question I have: During that stretch where we asked him to hit buzzer beaters at the end of quarters (other than the 4th), he had that sweet faster release that got him to hit more of those than I would have expected a rookie to make.

Why doesn't he just use that shot all the time? It's noticeably faster than his other release he likes to use the majority of the time.

His outside to midrange game will be a nightmare for opponents if he really dedicates himself to improving his shooting percentages. He has both length and leaping ability. He has a pretty fast release. He is going to be one of the tallest starting shooting guards in the league. If he adds a bit of strength and applies a Bird-style level of focus on practicing his jumpshot, he's going to be a real problem to guard outside.

He's already well above average defensively. I'm so glad the Pacers drafted George. I was hoping it would happen, but I didn't think they would actually do it. When I saw that Hayward was gone, I got really excited that it could happen, and it actually did.

I love this mix. I'm so excited for the 2011-12 season. I have a feeling that, after the draft, our trades, and free agency, our team is going to be so kickass next year that I won't be able to stay in Florida much longer. DC, Roy, and PG are gonna break out, Tyler's going to elevate to an even further level, our new guys are going to make a massive difference, and Granger's going to turn into

with a chokehold on the LeBron/Rose/Kobe/Durant/other superstars.

And of course, Vogel will be back, leading the boys to his/their second career playoff berth.

...adidas, homecourt, pacers...i dunno, but whoever's in charge needs to stop slacking and start making PG jerseys! I've been waiting all season/summer
I really see PG eventually being a fan fav throughout the league and we'll see more pacers jerseys OUTSIDE of indy

george needs to become a much bigger focal point of our offense starting next year.

If he can learn to show up more often (both game by game, and within a game), I completely agree. We struck oil with that pick if he becomes even remotely consistent on that end of the floor. He can do a lot of things well. A lot of things.
