Artest doing something stupid at a critical time in a Playoff series that will adversely affect their Team at the absolute wrong time?

Seems par for the course for him.

Removing a Player like Artest from the equation can sometimes makes the team better. My guess is that Barnes and Odom will do an adequate job at the SF spot and the Lakers will pull out a win in Dallas tonight.

I was going to say... isn't this addition by subtraction? Ron's been pretty bad all year and isn't doing anything this series.

He didn't keep it above the belt when he kneed Odom in the "jimmy".

I bet Carlisle is happy as hell to be on the winning end of an Artest suspension for once...

Artest to Odom in the starting lineup is an upgrade.

Matt Barnes into the rotation in plce of Odom with the second unit is a huge downgrade.

So... on balance I guess it depends upon how many minutes a guy like Barnes has to play. If Odom stays out of foul trouble and the PFs also stay out of foul truble, then the loss of Artest has minimal impact. He is a shell of his former self, IMO.

Ron Artest IS Tracy Jordan. It's the same character/person without a doubt.
