I have to say, this video was amazing. I wanted to post it here because of how jaw-dropping some of these dunks were. I hadn't seen about 30 of them.

My favorites were in no particular order:

#44 Andre Igoudala dunk- Just insane athleticism. Wanted to get up and scream because of how amazing that reverse was.

#28 Dwight Howard on Omer Asik's head- MONSTER jam...Re-watched it about 5 times. It seemed like he was just going to go for a hook shot but he just booms it down on Asik.

#21 James Harden- WOW...what a poster and he just exploded to the rim like no other.

#16

#14- A dunk on two people...phenomenal.

#9

#5

#3- Woah. I've seen the video about a thousand times, but it never gets old. And I'm not even a DWade guy.

All of the dunks are great though.

#41 Dwight Howard over Jrue Holiday should've been wayyy higher. That was one of my favorite dunks of the year. Howard on a fastbreak, alley-oop, megaposter. Insanity.

I'm incredibly disappointed that not a single McRoberts dunk found its way onto the list. As far as alley-oops and posterizations go, he did both against DeJuan Blair and Nazr Mohammed on separate occasions. Not only that, he put Omer Asik and Taj Gibson on a poster, kind of dunked on LeBron, totally dunked on Anderson Varejao, and had a sick one-handed oop against the Bobcats.

The McKid deserves some McLovin.

edit: regardless, the list is quite incredible. season-encompassing compilations are the best.

I thoroughly enjoyed that.

I don't feel like #30 belongs. Maybe a few others too but that one sticks out to me.

I feel like if that made it, then how do dunks like Roy's coast to coast not make it? Or any of Josh's? Plus I feel some players like Iggy and others had to have some more dunks that could have been in the top 50.

Oh well, the video was still very entertaining.

That was sweet.

I agree 30 was not spectacular. I didn't care for 2 either. I hate when they throw it in and it is considered a dunk.

That said, I happy that there were about 20 fewer Griffin dunks than I expected.

Quoted for emphasis. I can see where it could be seen as proper, being a posterization and all, but besides that, I completely agree. Josh had at least three way better dunks than that one, that I would have been content at (even) #50.

I constantly forget that Paul dunked on Randy Foye earlier in the season, too. Where was that on the list? Or Josh on Asik/Gibson? or Josh on Blair? or DC on Lou Williams? c'mon NBA, getcher head outta yer ***.

This video wasn't put together by the NBA - it's not a league official, it's by some random person on youtube. McRoberts had a number of dunks that made the NBA's weekly and daily top 5's and 10's. I'd expect at least one of them to appear on an official top 50 of the season.

Yes, being able to throw it in while taking contact a couple of feet from the basket is nice. But it's NOT a dunk!

You guys are crazy, 2 was ridiculous. At game speed with normal camera angles, that looks like a dunk, it was an incredible play.

Great dunks... 41, 39 & 10 really got me pumped up :)
#10 has a NBA Jam feeling to it!

Still, not to be a homer be no Pacers dunk AT ALL?? I remember a few Josh's dunk that could be here... Maybe not because they were not as contested as most of the dunks in this video. In this case DC's dunk vs Philly on a fast break on Jodie Meeks IIRC deserves to be there IMO

I would have definitely rated #26 higher.

Warrick can get two dunks in the top 50, but nothing from George or McRoberts.

Whoever put this video together is missing out. :(

#2 should have been #1, and Im not even on the Blake wagon. But Nothing I have ever seen is better than this!

It makes it so much better when he points at him. That would have to be embarrassing.

I don't know who put this video together but saying there were 50 dunks better than Josh's oop tomahawk or Stuckey's posterization of Bosh (which happened on the same night BTW) is just flat out ridiculous.

i'm assuming he's from LA, because most of the footage is from ESPN/TNT and FSN southwest. i don't think he's watched too many pacers games. not surprised a pacer isn't represented here.
