Watch out for the following:

This is one of the most selfish, ballhogging teams in the league. If Iverson can give up the ball and let Dalembert and Robinson carry some of the load they could be dangerous. If it's the same old AI, they won't.

Jim O'Brien is a damn good coach, and Dick Harter is a defensive marvel.
This team is more talented than the Celtics team that O'Brien took to the conference finals.
They will be a playoff team and have the most improved record in the East.
I can't imagine peacefu co-existence between the defensive-mined coaching staff and Glenn Robinson, but otherwise they will get the most out of their talent.

I think the best preview of the 76ers was done by nba.com<p>

Robinson will be gone before the trade deadline; they couldn't unload him this summer because the other teams didn't want to send the wrong message to their fan base (quitting before the season starts). But his expiring deal will be attractive to some teams at the deadline once they are out of the playoff hunt.

I think they and New York will fight it out in the Atlantic, but Philadelphia should win based on better coaching and more talent at the power positions.

I just got back from the Preseason game between Philadelphia and Toronto.
I have to say - Philadelphia really impressed me. They are definitely a contender, and will be for years to come.
They really have some amazing young talent between Willie Green, Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert, Josh Davis, John Salmons to name a few.
After watching the game - I think Willie Green and Andre Iguodala are up there on my favourite players to watch outside the Pacers!
Philadelphia has the big guys down low, between Dalembert, Marc Jackson, Corliss, Kenny Thomas, etc., and they have the great guards/small forwards to go along with it.
I was very impressed obviously...but for the Raptors side, I have to give props to Chris Bosh like usual. And Vince had probably the nastiest dunk I have ever seen right on Dalembert's face.

I heard the fans were chanting "we want Carter!" lol
I wonder what he thought about that..

Yeah - practically the entire stadium was chanting that - it got quite loud.
Vince just sat on the bench laughing and giving some of his teammates high fives.
