Couldn't have happened to a nicer fella..

Carlos Boozer suffered turf toe on his right foot that he said he heard pop and contributed to him sitting for the final 18 minutes, 17 seconds of the Bullsí Game 5 win over the Pacers.

"We'll just see how it goes every day, try to get the pain out of it," Boozer said. "I'm in a great deal of pain. But I got until the next round starts.

"I told (coach Tom Thibodeau) if he needed me I'd be out there and try to gut it out. He said, 'If I need you, I'll put you in. If not, we'll just try to get it better.'"

Boozer averaged 10 points and 10.2 rebounds in 30:23 for the series.

His ego has to hurt worse.

Hans showed that physical play basically renders Boozer irrelevant on offense...making him basically irrelevant altogether. With all honesty, I believe that Hans would be more valuable to the Bulls.

Maybe there are Basketball Gods or karmic forces at work here.

If possibly, I would make him 100% healthy if he agreed to wear a muzzle the rest of his career.

I wonder who is softer Boozer or Bosh?

Don't know, but if Hibbert becomes as tough as those two I will be happy with Hibberts toughness. Right now that is what is holding Hibbert back from consistently putting up 16 and 9.

Tyler's secret Dim Mak death touch kung-fu attack finally took effect.

You forgot the part where Foster immediately took the ball from Boozer after the rebound.

Taj Gibson is basically the same player...only not a total bag of dicks.

I swear every game I'd get excited when Boozer would get in foul trouble. Then Taj Gibson would make the Bulls better..

As Sookie might have implied, Boozer got pulled when he picked up his 4th foul so I thought he was sitting because of foul trouble and the only injury was his bruised ego... The Bulls are DRose's team, but he's not contributing jack.

With all honesty, I believe that Hans would be more valuable to the Bulls. It's true that Boozer had a less than spectacular series offensively. But anyone who takes down 10 rebounds per game in the playoffs is far from irrelevant.

Just saw this on twitter and thought this would be the perfect place to post it.

Even Boozer's teammates don't like him
