When it came down to needing a bucket, Derrick Rose did what
he does best and got to the rack. Just before that, the Pacers
went to what they do best when they need a score: nothing.
That was the story of crunch time in a game they lost 88-84.
The Pacers have no reliable offense. In Game 1, the pick-and-
pop with Tyler Hansbrough abusing Carlos Boozerís lack of
defensive acumen worked. I think Hicks wants to give the Live Event Chatroom (http://www.pacersdigest.com/misc.php?do=cchatbox) a test drive today. So around game time (2:30pm ish) you can mosey on up between the iSpy and New Posts options along the top bar (or just visit http://tinyurl.com/429klrn). With this brand new feature, instead of hundreds of PD folk slowing down the ol' servers by constantly refreshing/reloading the game thread, you'll be able to chat live during the game.

Do it.

25 years ago today at some hospital in Indianapolis, this Pacers fan was brought screaming into this world. Looking up, the infant yelled, "WE NEVER SURRENDER, WE NEVER GIVE UP, WE KEEP ATTACKING," at his exhausted mother who had just been through 17 hours of labor.

But seriously, it's my birthday today, and the Pacers getting eliminated from the playoffs on my birthday would really suck. Let's get a damn win today.

Birthday Buddies! Come on Pacers, give us a happy birthday!

Good luck, idioteque.

My birthday is May 2nd:

2006: Nets 92, Pacers 86.
2005: Pacers 90, Celtics 85. (May 3)
2004: Heat 81, Pacers 94 (May 6)
2003: Pacers 90, Celtics 110 (May 1)
2002: Pacers 109, Nets 120
2001: Sixers 88, Pacers 85

2-4 in the last decade, 0-3 on the exact date. :(

Been a little rough lately, though I forgot about 2004/2005 when I first started assembling this post. I was more remembering '06, '02, and '01.

Hoping for a more Pro-pacer crowd. Go pacers.

Come on boys.. Lets take this one today. One game at a time.

It seemed like they left it all out there last game. I hope they have some game left in them for today. Regardless of the outcome, this has been a great end to the season, probably the best since 04-05.

I feel like the team has finally reached it's full potential that we have all been seeing glimpses of the last few years and I really don't want to see the season end today.

There isn't another team that is playing harder than the Pacers right now in the playoffs and as good as teams like Miami and the Lakers are, watching them just coast through games like they are Varsity vs JV is just not as fun to watch as the Pacers.

Sadly.. I see the Bulls winning in a blowout.

I think most people have said that for every game. Just saying.

45 minutes to tip. Fans in red and black all over the place. Didn't know Game #4 was in the United Center.

Let's hope they have a long, depressing ride back to Chicago tonight.

its not like this is the first game at the fieldhouse of the series

pretty much the same people are going to be there

more pacers fans than bulls fans and im expecting them to be loud

give it next year for the place to be full of pacers fans only

im here and its pretty much the same as it was thursday

Regardless of how it turns out, it's been real following the team with you all and watching them grow this season. Let's all try to keep in mind this is Collison and George's first year with the Pacers, and essentially Hansbrough's first year. Hibbert isn't too far behind. Lots of work to do, but lots of time to do it.

Word is security have been taking away brooms from Bulls fans trying to bring them into Conseco.

This is depressing...

I wish all of the playoff games were on FSI. The only people I like on TNT are Reggie and CWebb.

So....Much...Red.

It is shameful how many red jerseys are in the stands.

Security was removing brooms from entering Bull's fans. I wonder how many they had to take away. From the look at the crowd... a lot.

It looks like there's more red than the previous game.

I guess we'll see once the game begins.

This sucks we have to see this many in our home arena.
