Completely agree.

At the same time, I'd like to be proud of them after a win though.

Sooo proud of the team! I don't think I could be any prouder even if they had won. This team is capable of winning 50 games next year. They have heart.

We have been playing so well. Even though we are down 0-2, it could easily be 2-0.

Psss... These were road games and were heading back to Conseco. :)

ABsolutely, Paul George had 3 steals 4 blocks, but I bet he caused 6 or 7 more turnovers and at least 4 or 5 bad shot attempts.

He is imo, at 20, the best perimeter defender they've had ever, except maybe Heavy D.

I couldn't be more excited how they've competed, unscared, awesome.

I said the same thing in the game thread

twice in a row is no fluke. If I could have a prayer answered it would be we spank them twice at home to even the series

Form that point on , I honestly wont care how the series ends

That would be epic

Our Rookie looked like a defensive all star, against the league MVP.

So Proud.

SOOO Proud it's not even funny!

We deserved to win game 1... We deserved to win game 2.

In game 1, we have to put most of the blame on ourselves for not finding a way to score down the stretch.

But in game 2, the game was blatantly handed to Chicago by the refs. They literally took points away from us and handed the ball to the Bulls to give them the advantage.

The fact that the NBA / Refs had to resort to bull**** phantom calls and no calls in order to keep us from beating one of their darlings makes me SO PROUD to be a Pacers fan right now.

Let's pray that it's a different story at Conseco.

Time to sweep these ******** in Indy and take another one of our best shots at them in Chicago.

I still honestly believe we can win this series... Everything up to this point has shown this to be a real possibility.

Honestly I can't begin to say how proud I am of our guys and how excited I am for our future. We could have came out flat like Philadelphia did. But we didn't. We battled the whole game once again. These guys are getting such great experience. This team is going places just by maturing. We are giving the number one seed all they can handle. I think we are winning the next two at home. I love this team.

In a year or two, a loss like tonight will be crushing. Tonight I couldn't be happier. We lost both games in Chicago, but we won their respect. I'll take that.

Extremely proud of the Pacers. They have exceeded all my expectations going into the playoffs. We turned lots of heads tonight. People thought game one was a fluke, tonight we proved we could more than hold our own. Charles Barkely even went out and said we have very good players at every position and that we are somewhat similar to the Nuggets. Despite the loss, it was a really good game and I'm so thrilled and thankful that I have a chance to witness this amazing team in person this Saturday. Can't wait!!!

I have never had so much fun watching games in which we lose. I'm actually beaming. We could have won, we were in it. We still fought after D.C. went down. We probably won't win this series. We never were supposed to. But we are bringing back Indiana Basketball. This I like.

I haven't this proud of this team since Reggie days.

We're playing like a real blue collared team and we're working together.

This is a team the fans of Indiana can be proud of for years to come.

Forgot to add, Paul George's defense on Rose tonight was AMAZING. I don't remember how Rose managed to get 36, but George had 18 deflections, forced tons of turnovers, and that monstrous block on Rose was awesome. Now George only needs to stop trying to do too much on the offensive end. If he gets an open 3 or midrange jumper, take it! Not saying settle for outside jumpshots, but have more confidence!

I know losses are losses...but I think these are the best kind of losses. Playoff experience where both teams are going at it hard, and we're holding our own ON THE ROAD! No fear,no laying down to the better team, none of that garbage.

All the media and fans glancing at the regular season record and saying the Pacers weren't going to be a challenge are looking like fools. Chalk up Thursday as a win if the Pacers play like this. Saturday too. No joke. They won't beat us at home if the Pacers keep this up,and they will.

I'm damn proud of this team and I'm getting the hot tea w/ lemon going. I need to make sure my pipes are ready to be loud and proud Thursday and Saturday. They're saying only 3000 tickets remain.... Hopefully they're our fans buying these up.

Damn, I'm amped for these games win or lose!!

Nice compliment by Wilbon (well, ignoring the matter-of-fact way he talks about who the Bulls will face in the next round):

Don't waste time with the argument that it's only the Pacers, the seven-games-under-.500 Pacers, because the Pacers have a better roster by miles than fourth-seeded Orlando and play with a passion the Atlanta Hawks couldn't possibly understand. Whichever of those two the Bulls get in the second round won't come close to testing the Bulls the way the Pacers will over this series.

Haven't posted much, just sitting back and enjoying watching these guys and this team.

It's been awesome hearing this team gets respect and props from analysts and celebs, and this should build a TON of confidence moving forward.
