Do you think if Scot put half the effort into his game as he does into being a clown he might actually contribute to the team. Other than being the joker?

Its a shame that this clown wastes his comedy talents by pretending to play basketball.

Although, if he wasn't playing for the Pacers, I'd laugh at him on the court, too.

Without the hair, he'd just be another Stuart Grey, although with even less actual talent than Stuart Grey had. :sarcasm:

Peck and Jay, I don't understand you guys. He's been pretty mild ever since he got here... he makes faces at the camera and suddenly he's a clown?

He obviously played poorly last year, but the "less talent than Stuart Grey" thing is a bit over the top.

Oh my! This is just begging for a "caption this."

2.4 ppg 2.7 rpg Stuart Grey

1.7 ppg 2.7 rpg Scot Pollard

Before I went & looked this up I actually would have agreed with you. But now.....;)

Ok, I'm just kidding. I do consider Pollard better than Grey.

I guess my problem is this guy always is mugging for the camera. If you ever saw the intro to last seasons first two game he started you saw him on the big screen being a fool.

It's not a big deal really, he is what he is. However when you stop & think who he was traded for :banghead::soundoff:

But this "clown" gets paid quite a handsome reward to play a child's game, so in the end, he gets the last laugh on all of you that put him down.

It's assinine to say that he doesn't put forth the effort.

See my post above.

Once again, it's a dead monkey. Stop whacking it. Please.

I want Pollard to go back to the Samurai look he had while in Sacramento.

That was freakin' sweet!

Last summer, I said that Foster and Pollard were just this generation's version of Dreiling and Grey.

And people didn't like it.

Now this.

As Peck points out, they are pretty similar.

Actually, I thought Stuart was fairly polished offensively. He could catch the ball, for example. However, Stuart was as mobile as a California Redwood and always in foul trouble.

They were both basically the 11th or 12th man on thier teams. Why is it such a sin to compare the two?

Looks like a mugshot to me. ;)

Seriously though I thought he was a pretty good backup in Sacramento but I think he was damaged goods when you guys acquired him. I think his back injury really slowed him down because he was a high energy hustle type of player with the Kings.
