How ironic. Orlando took care of Milwaukee for us last night and can take care of Charlotte tonight. Most importantly, it's time for the Pacers to take care of business tonight!

This is a must win game regardless of what Charlotte does tonight. It's not going to get any easier as the last 3 games are against talented playoff teams.

I would agree with yoiu if I thought the Bobcas had a chance to win another game. They might win 1 more game.

Pacers will win tonight though and clinch

That would imply the Bulls also are playing in the Special Olympics, and I'm pretty sure that would mean they were cheating, Eric Cartman style.

Let's hope we bring our A game and steal a couple.

Ya'll will think I'm crazy, but Indy's playoff success depends on what version of Indy shows up to the 1st round. There's been stretches of play during this season (albeit fleeting) where we've been pretty damn unbeatable. And then we follow it up with a stretch of play where we can't beat the worst teams in the league.

If that first version of Indy shows up --- we could win a series. Not even kidding. If Indy shows up with their A+ game, we can beat anyone in the east, even Chicago. The chances of that happening? Probly not great. But it's still a remote possibility.

I'm still going on my hunch that we'll get ousted 4-2 or 4-1, but in our losses we'll make it a good game. I expect only maybe 1 "blowout" where we just get our asses handed to us.

If we assume that we're going against Chicago in the 1st round, there's one niggling thought in the back of my head --- DRose has to be getting tired. It's not easy being the do-everything guy for a team, and the playoffs are where that fatigure starts to show through. Could be wrong. But as "superhuman" as he's seemed all year, that dude has to be getting tired. And what happens then? Indy just happens to be extremely deep and fairly rested and injury-free... very interesting factor going into that series. If the "good" Indy shows up... could get very interesting. Big IF... I know...

Yeah, you are crazy. I'll predict game #1 will be ugly and we'll read several comments from pacers players talking about they had no idea the playoffs were so intense "yes so and so told me, but until you go through it you don't fully understand" Pacers will play a little better in game #2. I always figure first time playoff participants lose at least 1 game just from shock.

Bulls defense will be something the Pacers will not be able to handle. You almost have to learn a new way to play offense. In the playoffs the defense takes away all your plays, and for the most part you just have to either go to options 4 and 5 within a certain play or abanandon your plays and just play basketball. Defenses know your plays as well as you do and each defender has studied hours of tape on who they are defending.

it is not an overstatement to say the playoffs are a different game.

I expect them to win at least 1 game vs the Bulls. When the Pacers are on they are very good and can beat anyone. They just can't come out all loosey goosey. They gotta channel the spirit of the Bulldogs (on defense) or watch tape of Tyler Hansbrough for 3 hours before the game and go kick some BUTT!

Not to be a party pooper....but despite the Wizards being a very poor Road Team....remember...this is the "Jekyll and Hyde" Pacers where we can beat Teams that we shouldn't be able to beat while being blown out by Teams that we shouldn't be losing to.

Add in that we have a tendency to allow scrubs to get career scoring highs against us ( my guess is that MoEvans will be that guy ), that we have problems against super athletic Scoring PGs and that JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche ( an extremely tall and athletic Frontcourt that can score in the Low Post ) has been on a tear lately....and I wouldn't underestimate the Wizards for a second.

I'm happy we're back in the playoffs (which is pretty much guaranteed at this point).

I just hope we win at least 2 of our last upcoming games just to say we've improved since not making the playoffs.

There's no doubt we still need a lot of work and are pretty much in because the East is so weak.

As far as making the playoffs this year, it's something this young team, Indy and the fans really need just to get the feel of what it's like to be in the playoffs.

The players have to realize that it's do or die in the postseason and there's no slacking off or act like wimps. We have the capability to win at least one game and matchup well with the Bulls if this team keeps their head on straight and is motivated.

Something to keep in mind - The Magic are locked into the 4 seed. So let's hope they don't choose to give their young guys a ton of minutes against Charlotte.

They should however feel free to play their young guys against the Pacers the last game of the season....:)

I think the good Indy is nothing more than when the whole team gets on a roll at the same time. Remember when we hit 20 of 21 shots against Denver in the 3rd quarter? That kind of shooting will take any team down.

As for beating Washington tonight a lot of you sound like it's a foregone conclusion. I beg to differ though, the Wiz are on a roll having won three in a row. I did predict the Pacers to win in the guess the score contest though.

Like I've said elsewhere, it wouldn't surprise me if the Pacers lose these last four games and still make the playoffs, and then upset Chicago in the first round. That's just the way this team is, you can never count on them to win or lose.
