for this season it has been:

Roy
Hansbrough
George

...but DG33 takes over completely on my list when he is playing like he should...he's been doing that lately by drawing contact and getting to the line instead of just jacking so many threes and/or bad shots.

I don't have a particular favorite, but these are my Top 3. Seems like they're popular choices among the Blue and Gold faithful here.

Hibbert
Hansbrough
Collison

Josh...tough call here, 3 guys for 2 spots - Rush, Price, Roy

Yes, all have struggled at times, but when they dial it in I enjoy their style of games the most.

But I feel guilty because Foster has been a favorite since his 2nd year and he's done nothing to ruin that except become a bigger fan fave, doesn't need my support so much any more. :)

But wait a second, what's with all the Hans mentions? I mean surely we all know his massive struggles to get respect - what's it going to take for you people to like him....even more I guess???
:whoknows:

Sorry, can't resist making fun of that ludicrous thread. We all know Tyler's doing just fine in the area of massive fan support and is probably the #1 fan favorite in the building per cheers. Don't take my sarcasm of that thread as a knock on Tyler or his fans, he busts it and that deserves fans.

But we may as well have had a thread saying "What's it going to take to get Nap to appreciate Josh?" ;)

Isn't it a great sign that we have such diversity in mentions even with people allowed 3. Feels like for all the ups and downs the team does have a deep core of guys that people enjoy. Even the team's star, Granger, is not dominating the lists.

Hard to decide.. But I'll go with

Hibbert, Granger, Hansbrough, with George and Foster not far behind.

love DC (when he is playing with focus) and Josh too so they deserve a shoutout.

How far Danny Granger has fallen. Really wish this had been a poll...

Danny is still awesome. I keep holding out that he will return to his former scoring self, or even better become a lock down defender like he was trying to become under Ron's tutelage.

Narrowing it to 3 is hard, which is a far cry from not too many years ago when FINDING 3 would have been hard.

Going with the guys I like how they APPROACH the game (rather than just the talent), I end up with a pool of Hibbert, Dunleavy, Foster, Hansbrough, McRoberts, and George.

Picking 3 from that pool, gotta go with Roy, Jeff, and Tyler. Dun is squeaked out because of recent injury, but only just...

I don't feel too strongly about any of them at the moment, to be perfectly honest. I've gotten behind various players over the past several years, only to be more or less underwhelmed.

So while I'll list three, I can't say it's a strong, passionate favorite in any instance:

Jeff - Not just for his history here, but his general veteran reliability in defense, toughness, rebounding, and knowing what to do within the team's offense/defense.

Josh - This one goes back and forth. His quieter games don't cut it for me, no matter how many picks he may or may not set. But the more he touches the ball, the more I tend to appreciate and like him. Love his court awareness and passing, his ability to finish, and his general ability go provide a little of this, a little of that.

Tyler when he doesn't look pathetically out-matched.
