Just two nights after losing in Detroit due in large part to
horrid foul shooting, the Pacers received some help from
the Boston Celtics at the free-throw line. Rather than
looking that gift horse in the mouth, the Pacers rode it to
a 107-100 victory. Playing against a banged-up team, the
Pacers benefited from solid bench play and great showings
from point guards Darren Collison (18 points on 8-of-9
shooting) and AJ Price (15 points in 20 minutes). For whatever reason, the Pistons have a comfort level against Indiana they don't have with most other teams.

It helps that they can exploit Darren Collison whenever they want to.

To me Tyler is making a concerted effort to not be a "black hole" - the guy is a team player - a couple nice passes already after passing up his own shot. I think though his style works best when he goes all tasmanian devil... and I think that role works better as an energy guy off the bench, not as a starter and 3rd or 4th scoring option.

It seems like Josh and Tyler compliment each other well. Tyler can't play a lick vs. detroit or boston etc. but Josh always shows up to play against those teams. Vice Versa, when Josh seems out of it, Tyler dominates.

If we could get consistent performances out of both of them every game, I don't think we'd need to look for a new PF.

I define inspired by showing up for 4 quarters. He dogged it against Boston for the first half and when I mean dogged it I mean he had like 4 points and he was chucking 3's. Boston wasn't that good defensively 2 days ago because of back to back games. We shot like 50% against them. Thanks to DC and ROY.

Why the hell wouldn't Detroit bench Ben Gordon for the rest of the game? My God. He's a disgrace out there.
I was so excited when Detroit signed him.

I'm liking Dunleavy in the second unit. Nice ball movement and setting up plays.
Gee, I've only been saying that all year.

Wow we may have the best PF tandem in the NBA right now with McRoberts and Hansbrough. This is just sick right now.

Easy does it. They do complement each other extremely well. It seems like if one of them isn't playing great, the other one picks up the slack. I really like that. Their skill sets are sooo different.

Not sure if he likes to pass the ball.
Stuckey passed there... when he realized he couldn't take Josh off the dribble.

Why is Hibbert in at all?

I'm liking Dunleavy in the second unit. Nice ball movement and setting up plays. Makes up for Prices lack of PG skills. But I'm worried they are gonna end up just chucking 3pters. Price, Rush, and Dunleavey never met a 3pter they didn't like.

At least Dunleavy and Rush are shooting 40%.

I haven't been watching many games lately, but from what I've seen you're right. He's been playing much better. It seems like he's knocking down the threes with more consistency too. Not sure the numbers support that though.

Yeah. He has rushed his outside shot when he has been open in this game for some reason. I don't really know why. Everything else has been decent to good though.

Emphasis on kind of. Most teams make runs. Add us playing our reserves until just now and you could see their run coming.

Is just not about making shots, it seems to me like Vogel told him to move more and make more passes, he touch the ball almost every time on offense.

Early on Denari said Brandon is shooting close to 50% from 3pt land in the last six games. Seems to me that he has been hitting more timely 3's as well - stopping a run by an opposing team or cementing a lead late.

There are always going to be runs, but I don't like how we've been on offense for the past few minutes. Danny just stood there and took two three's the past two possessions. One that didn't even hit the rim. :(

In the words of the late, great Patrick Swayze, "Ditto." He's one of the best free agents available, fills a major need and would be taking talent from a division rival. It's a win/win/win.

Isn't he pretty similar to DC and AJ? The last thing he wants to do is pass the ball.

We have enoght combo guards. Stucky is gonna get paid also so unless we poney up. I would love him to be our SG

Due to his size and scoring ability, Stuckey is better suited playing the 2.

They need to draft a PG and not Kemba Walker unless they want another SG to play the point.

They're one of the few teams in desperate need of a point.

Seriously. They might both be scoring guards, but Stuckey is a solid 6' 3" and he's built like a house while Collison is a rail thin 6'.

That's a big difference.

Danny is playing like he doesn't care. He's 3-10 from the field.

Going back to what I said last night, I full disagree.

His offense in the 3rd was huge in putting us at the top.

He was pretty active without the ball in his hands also.
