Dunleavy will play 10-20 min. off bench, assume D. Jones' spot in rotation for now to keep P George and Rush in same role. intersting I thought Vogel loves Jones game and wouldnt bench him.

Smart decision by Vogel.

We need a team game going and Jones depends too much on himself to do the work on the offensive end.

Opposite from who he was when we brought him in.

I think Jones used sparingly for defense if Mike can't get it done defensively is the perfect solution. This along with Paul moving back to the bench I think would be ideal between Josh and Mike the ball would really be getting moved around.

either you are going to hate him more after tonight, or you're gonna understand why we sucked while he was out after tonight

I though u didnt hate Dunleavy and didnt think he sucked. Surley 20mins of Dunleavy isnt gonna cost us the playoffs.

But taking the best defender out would do it, DJ is maybe the only guy that keeps everybody in check, he won't be able to do that from the bench.

I am ok with this. I would much rather have Dunleavy playing backup SF than take Paul or Brandon's spot when they are much better defensively at matching up with small quick guards.

Dun is a better player than DJ and rush is playing much better. Only other solution is to bench PG, which wouldn't really fit into vogel's supportive MO, not to mention **** of the FO.

I agree. I was comparing Dun to Paul and Brandon. I was trying to say backup SF is what I want Dun to play because he isn't good enough to guard guys at SG that are smaller/quicker than him.

Did Vogel actually say that Dahntay would be the one to lose the minutes? Or is it just a guess?

Denari said it on the bcast, attributing to Vogel, also.

This was the right decision. Dunleavy at the backup 3 >>> Dunleavy at the starting 2.
