That would be weird and trailblazing (to my knowledge) to have TWO sections like that. Where would they put it? The opposite corner of the fieldhouse, over where the pep band has been?

And are there enough fans to make it rival area 55? I don't think so, but then again how many who tried out for Area 55 and didn't make it in are there out there who would jump at a chance to be in Area 50 or whatever it ends up being called?

At the 55 tryouts, there were a lot of people, definitely. But the quality of people there who did not make it was less than average. Most were just in minor pacer gear and did not look excited. I don't think there is a way they can have both, my guess is Area 55 would cease to exist. Think of how hard that coordination would be on chants (if any). Hell, there are 6 different chants going on in area 55 at one time, I can't imagine another section at the same time.

All the players should do it and then it might look like some fans at the game. And just think, the Pacers foot their own bill. Nice!

They shouldn't create another section until they can fill Area 55.

I heard that they might do "are you louder than area55" Where they have a cheer group or whatever sit in 102 and try to be louder than us in 101. It would be a different group everygame.
