Is this really a surprise? Both guys have to be "the man." If MJ indeed joins the Heat, you'll see the Lakers reborn in red and black.

What is it with Jordan, anyway? Is his money gone? Does he want to win another ring for some reason? Is this just a ploy to keep his name in the news because he's such an egomaniac? What?

During the 6 o'clock Sportscenter, Mike Wilbon had a statement saying Jordan told him he was not attempting a comeback. End of (made up) story... hopefully.

Dangit.

Jordan being back would be Shaq-Kobe all over again, but with a 42-year old Kobe. There would be too much feuding over who is the man, to be winning any games.

jordan is sooo done it is not even funny. the only reasons he would try such a thing is for his ego and to catch a ride on shaqs back in hope of winning a title. but a 42 yr jordan would get roasted by other teams sf's. he is too slow and too small to handle those guys anymore. but i am all for it just to see him get dominated.

Then is Shaq lying about the phone messages?
