for what an 9 - 12 range draft pick? yeah that'll really help things turn around there are just too many bad teams and we have came way too far to just give up now. The draft this year is terribad it goes Irving, Sullinger, then drops off considerably. I was all for the tank when we had O'Brien but now that Vogel is here and he's playing what is best for our future. I want us to make the playoffs.

If any draft is an anti-tank draft it is this next one.

Never say tank. Like today, these guys learn from even the closely contested games.
Just a bunch of bull to anyone who wants a tank. No learning curve there.

i'd like to add with the pacers cap space, we have more options then in previous seasons to improve.

making the playoffs is one of the best ways to improve your current players. maybe Granger would wake up in the postseason.

I doubt it, that dude does not care or try...watch him jog back on defense, dude is a loser. Pathetic.

Tank Vogel.

No sarcasm here. One thing in this world I love is P, tough to find a more hardcore fan than me. If these losers cared as much as I did they would seldom lose.

I think this fanbase has forgotten the excitement the playoffs generate. For those of you that have been to an NBA playoff game, it is truly an electric atmosphere.

The best thing that could possibly happen to this team would be to taste the playoffs and remind them of what they have missed the last however many years.

Professionals or not, losing beats the mind down and the mental aspect is one of the most important.

Make the playoffs, win a game or two......come back hungry as hell next year.

I'm tired of the lottery.

Teams in the lottery are associated as season failures, IMO.

1) Horrible draft coming up, at least for the most part
2) we've drafted a lot of our future pieces, now it is time for development of them
3) making playoffs = we start to actually win = more fans = we stay in Indy

That's what I've been saying, but we're not in danger of leaving Indy.

It was nice that the crowd was energized today.

I liked the Friday night crowd. A lot Hayward fans, but most of them rooted for the Pacers to win.

The team must hate when they have a big audience.

Tank for what?

A 9-14 range 1st round pick in arguably the weakest draft in years?

As opposed to playoff experience which we desperately need?

I'll pass on tanking.

:wtf: Where is there a stud like Wall this year ? Maybe Kyrie Irving but i doubt he comes out. Jimmer Freddete might go top 5 Perry Jones might go 1:eek:.

don't focus on 1 pick, there are lots of nice young players that are going to be in this draft, last year the Top 10 wasn't even that impressive

According to Seth Davis (and others) this draft is the worst in many years...MANY YEARS...No thanks. You can see why Larry was trying to unload a 1st round pick.

Monroe,Cousins,Wall.George,Favors and many others would go 1st in this years draft just saying. The top 10 was pretty good.
