A family gathering is taking us to southern Illinois, and since we are rarely within 5 hours (by car) of Indy we are hitting the Kings game in route. Would really appreciate any advise and thoughts on accommodations. We are considering the following locations:

Baymont Inn & Suites Indianapolis - 1540 Brookville Crossing Way, Indianapolis IN

Candlewood Suites Extended Stay Hotel Indianapolis - 8111 Bash St, Indianapolis IN

Candlewood Suites Indianapolis East - 7040 E 21st St, Indianapolis IN

Hilton - 120 W Market St, Indianapolis IN

One of my big concerns involves parking at the game. Are there secure lots where I will not have to worry about leaving our dogs in the car during the game? Hope to get in as soon as possible and do goofy fan stuff with the gnome.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Of your four options I would recommend the Hilton. This is downtown and just a few blocks (short walk) from the fieldhouse. This is also the farthest west of the three and right off I-70.

Have a great time.

1st hotel is close to my house and just opened about a 15-20 min drive to the fieldhouse wouldnt recommend it.There isnt very much stuff around that hotel. Parking is fairly cheap and the best place to park that is covered is attacted to he field house and it is a nice coverd parking garage with a boardwalk to the fieldhouse

Well, out of the 4 you listed, I would suggest the Hilton at 120 W. Market.

That's easily within walking distance (if you so choose to do that).

Now about the Dogs. I'm not sure about that one, sorry.

Either way, have a great time!

The Hampton Inn right in the city is around the corner from the Fieldhouse, but it's incredibly pricey.

Should have mentioned - we are only in the market for hotels that take dogs :)

Stay at the Hilton, you could keep your dogs there and walk to the game.

If you're at the Drury Inn near 82nd Street, head west on 82nd my amigo and you will soon find food and shoes at Castleton Square Mall. If you don't want a chain, you could head up north on 69 to 116th exit and get a unique Hoosier experience with a breaded tenderloin at the Nickel Plate.
