The Pacers received bad news on Wednesday when it was revealed that starting shooting guard Mike Dunleavy will be sidelined indefinitely with a broken left thumb.

"A very tough loss," Pacers interim coach Frank Vogel told The Indianapolis Star. "He's been playing great for us, especially since the coaching change. You lose his shooting. His player leadership on the court is always key. He's probably our best team defensive player. I've said all along we've got great depth, in particular at the wing position."

Vogel had the choice of moving Brandon Rush or Paul George into the starting spot and decided on Rush instead of the rookie. Rush has started 14 games this season.

With Dunleavy out what do we do now? Should we just stick with what we got or possibly aquire Gerald Wallace so that we have the best chance of making the playoffs? Deadline is today so Pacers have little time to make a trade.

If we stay with what we got that means Rush will more then likely start the rest of the season unless he is injured or falls out of favor with Vogel. Do we now give Posey minutes? It sucks that this had to happen when it did.

I think Dunleavy broke his thumb on purpose. Dude doesn't want to be traded.
